12XU – Singles Serie #1/4 7" (Pure Pain Sugar Rec.) 5,00 EUR
Come with a silkscreen printed, looking through foil sleeve!!! Great emo / post punk / indie rock, complete review follow soon...

12XU & OLD GROWTH – Split 7" (Pure Pain Sugar Rec.) 5,00 EUR
French dudes 12XU are one of the best new bands around right now and they need to do an lp in a hurry. This stuff is melodic and driving with perhaps more of a post punk / indie rock thing than the more emo stuff i have heard by these guys, but the vocals are superb. OLD GROWTH are back and the first song sounds different. Less straight forward, more like DRIVE LIKE JEHU and TUBERS. The second is more like what i was exepcting.

20 BELOWS - Late Nights CD (Monster Zero Rec.) 6,75 EUR
Our favorite Danish punkrockers are back with a record full of trademark tearjerkers! On their 3rd full-length (their 2nd on Monster Zero), The 20 Belows deliver 16 blasts of poppunk perfection! Singer Ulli is supersad again but the tunes are nothing to cry over. For those weasel lovin' Ramoniacs that also like their portion of Social D and a side of newer bands like Copyrights, Banner Pilot and Dead To Me, this record is a must-have. Scandinavian quality, Goomba approved, music for the masses.

A BIT OF BRAINDEAD - Totally Wrecked 7" (Thrash Bastard Rec.) 4,50 EUR
One of the best upcoming and most active Berlin based bands deserve their debut 7". Influenced by various reagan-era '80s hardcore bands but having found their own sound. "Totally Wrecked" contains 7" fast hitting hardcore thrashers that will leave you braindead!

ABFUKK - Bock Auf Stress LP (Twisted Chords Rec.) 11,90 EUR

ABFUKK - KEINE KOMPROMISSE MEHR 7" (Twisted Chords Rec.) 5,50 EUR

Yay! The boys are back and better than ever!! Your favourite loudest and snottiest bullshitters are finally bugging around again. It's been three years that their debut lp "12 Boring Blasts" was taken on by the specialized punkrock press with a boooooombastic lack of interest and consequently made the record to an "almost classic". However thats old news!
Finally you will get the chance to ignore the next genius effusion of the weirdos from europe's melting point of oddness but you shouldn't! "12 Boring Blasts" is completely sold out and as of now 10 is the new 12! 10 new songs representing the NOW-sound of yesterday! 10 new songs recorded in the old fashioned way at Schaltraum Berlin (BEATSTEAKS, STEREO TOTAL, DIE SKEPTIKER, WALTER SCHREIFELS) on big 3 inch tape which proves that analogue truly is the new betamax! 10 new songs revealing the banalities of any situation in life. 10 new songs that makes all the other amateurs look like their peers. Soundwise? Think MODERN PETS, THE STITCHES & THE BRIEFS meet THE PROFESSIONALS & THE BUZZCOCKS meet a roadkill squirrel. Nuff said! Let the "COCKNEY REJECTS vom Prenzlauer Berg" speak for themselves in this interview down below:

I: Good morning About Blanks! Im very glad to do this interview with you! May i state you as the only true punk band on this planet right now?
Jasper Hood: Yes.
I: Excellent! I was listening to your new lp "ignore this product" and it blew me away. It is a huge bump-up compared to its predecessor. i've been listening to it over and over again and never got bored of the songs. Are you as stoked as me about the record?
Don Lotzo: Yes.
I: Brilliant! For those who haven't heard the lp yet am i right in saying that the songs are the best tunes of the last 10 years with passion for detail, some great riffy guitar licks as well as a sound that will set new standards?
Daniel Distraction: Yes.
I: Fantastic! May i tell you furthermore that i love the artwork? Not only the eye-pleasing record cover. Every LP comes with a free sticker that makes you wanna buy the record twice! It seems to me that someone spent a lot of time and effort into this visual masterpiece! Isn't it so?
John Boy Adonis: Yes.
I: Impressive! I am pretty excited to enjoy the new songs live in the future. According to rumours you are going to play some concerts in Deutschland later this year. Is that right?
The About Blanks: YES!
I: Thanks so much for your time. What i finally meant to say: YOU BETTER NOT IGNORE THIS PRODUCT!

ACCIDENTE - Pulso LP (Dirt Cult Rec.) 15,90 EUR
Europe distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
"Socio-political melodic/pop-punk from Spain. Wait, sorry, really amazing socio-political melodic/pop-punk from Spain. If it wasn’t for the fact that the lyrics are in Spanish, I wouldn’t have been surprised if you told me this band came up through the New Brunswick, NJ basement scene—or at least were from somewhere on the East Coast. Equal parts melodic hardcore and straight up pop-punk, with beautiful vocals by Blanca. All of this together sounds like something in between the earnest swagger and jangle of the MEASURE [SA] and WORRIERS and the infectious, angered energy of LA FRACTION—or maybe like the too short-lived Syracuse band NO CONNECTION." - MRR

ADORNO - Said And Unsaid 7" (Pure Pain Sugar / Adagio 830 Rec.) 5,00 EUR
Four new songs by ADORNO from Portugal - 4 new tunes passionate hardcore with drive like jehuhisch melodic edge. More postrock then screamo. Not unlike DRAMAMINE (IDLE HANDS / PRESS GANG members) Noisy, distorted, melodic, beautiful, emotive sad sounding music w/ an intense reminiscent voice. Just awesome. first press of 500 on black vinyl.

AGENT ORANGE - Living In Darkness LP (Fan Club Rec.) 11,90 EUR
MEGACLASSIC ! Here the 11 song version, Fire Engine press of the 90ies. Certainly one of the most important hardcore records for the burgeoning skate scene in the early '80s, "living in darkness" also happens to be the best example of the marriage between hardcore, punk and surf music. These tracks saw AGENT ORANGE infusing surf guitars into the already established Orange County punk sound, creating their own style that would be imitated for decades. As a bonus this LP contains the 3 tracks from the "bitching summer" a well. If you like early '80s Southern-California punk then AGENT ORANGE is defiantly for you.

AGGRAVATION - Pressure 7" (P.Trash 45)
--Limd. 500 black vinyl and with a black & white silkscreen sleeve 5,00 Euro
We don't know what the hell isn't aggravating and going down the sewer in this world, but it sure ain't the music delivered by these French monsieurs. This 7'' looks like the negative counterpart to their ''Runaway'' EP on JoJo Records, packed in a white cover with black print and 4 new and catchy songs. The faster and elegantly stomping ''Pressure'' and ''Can't crush you'' on the A-side, as well as the bit slower and more melodic ''Scared to hate'' and ''Controlled'' on the flip please us with more revved up '77 Punk that sure doesn't lack of catchy melodies, a snotty voice, addictive choruses and cool, wavy passages. They're making their way up to Germany in November, so make sure you don't miss them live.

AGGRAVATION - Same LP (Full Trash 31)
Limd. 500 regular edition, black wax SOLD OUT
Limd. 150 have 2 color silk-screened pop up poster-covers & black wax, mail-order only!!! 13,00 Euro
Stash away your wine and cheese, enculé, and get them rockin' shoes out, the Marseille-based band AGGRAVATION is going to shake your phono.
Originally released on Relax-o-Matic Vibrator Records in an edition of only 300 copies in early 2007, we at the P. Trash HQ went bananas when we heard it for the first time and immediately declared it for the best non P. Trash Record in 2007.
This is damn fine and drifty 77' Punk par excellance with a good wavy hint, somewhere between the BUZZCOCKS, the RAMONES and the WIPERS, all smeared with dirt and armed to the yellow teeth with driving melodies.
The slower ''Olivier'' reminds of a pepped-up hommage to GRAUZONE's ''Eisbär'' , while the faster ''Violence'' takes you on a destructo-spree on the outskirts of of a dirty town. And they even cover REAGAN YOUTH's Überhit ''Degenerated'' somewhere in between.
Man, this is some hot merde spinning at 45 and we're pleased pleased pleased to re-press this disque now for your listening plaisir! Comes with a slightly different artwork which make the edition way more classy than the original copy, hehehe.

AGRO JIVE - Debut LP (Full Trash 49)
Limd. 500 "Regular Edit." black wax, with normal paper sleeve! 11,75 Euro
Limd. 100 "Blue Wax Edit.", with raw recycled style paper sleeve! For P.Trash Club-members only! 12,75 Euro
Whenever taking a break from jerking off to nudie pics of all scene dictators' mothers, jack-of-all trade Kasper from NO HOPE FOR THE KIDS, HUL, DEATH TOKEN, MOONLESS and hell-knows-what-other-bands recorded these 17 songs while doing time in a mental institution between 2004 and 2009 on an old 4-track machine which the male nurses traded him in for some special services on them. All the songs were already smuggled out of the nest rectally by Kasper's ex-bandmates and released as five 7''s along those years.
In chronological order they are now rereleased on one dirty LP by Punkrock aid organisation P.Trash. Hear Kapser's physical recovery and mental worsening demonstrated from primitive one-liners like ''She's in love with the atom bomb'' and ''I don't wanna live in the city'' to cruel and raunchy Rockenroll bashers like ''I'm gonna leave'', ''Evil night'' or ''I like the way you cry''. Sweet Power-Pop moments like ''Burn little girl'' show that there is still life in this beaten up and wasted shell of a young man. All this mess was mastered by Kasper's probation officer Rob Seaton of The STATUES and all profits of this record will go straight into pot, coke, speed, booze and a new straightjacket.

AIRFIX KITS - Playing Both Sides 7" (Dirtnap Rec.) 5,50 EUR
Come with Download-Code!
Tense working class post-punk from San Francisco. Debut release from 2/3rds ex Giant Haystacks. As much as we liked that band, this new incarnation is even better, hookier and more direct. Minutemen meets Wire with a distinct DIY sensibility. Or, as the band describes themselves, "Gang Of Four getting rat-arsed on cider and covering the entire Strength Through Oi! comp." That'll work too.

ALABAMA CHROME - Knoxville Girls 7" (Yakisakana Rec.) 4,90 EUR
Another solid release from Yakisakana. Trashy Canadian duo featuring Clint from LADIES NIGHT. Jangly songs filled with hand claps and tambourines, and blown out vocals and guitar driven through a wall of reverb and fuzz, that sound like they were recorded inside a giant gas tank. Comes also with a great sleeve artwork. Hear and look at http://myspace.com/alabamachrome

ALARMSTUFE GERD / NIHIL BAXTER Split 7" (Spastic Fantastic Rec.) 4,90 EUR
Out the way! ALARMSTUFE GERD & NIHIL BAXTER are back with a nuclear split 7". Thrashpunk to the max, all in all 19 tracks of fast forward, thrashing hardcore punk with very smart political and socio-critical lyrics. Everyone who is into bands like SURF NAZIS MUST DIE, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT, REPROACH or CITIZENS PATROL shouldn’t be wrong with an order of this new ep!

ALDERMAN SWINDELL - Loved Me Back 7" (Rijapov Rec.) 5,00 EUR
Italian-pressed single from this U.K. act, coming on with a very British sound. Hints of acoustic guitar, piano, and pop hooks make for an interesting style. There are hints of everything, from the Kinks to Scott Walker and all manner of anglophile obsession to be had on this single. I would recommend this for fans of everything from Swell Maps to power pop or britpop. Pretty good stuff; would like to hear more. -Mike Frame/Razorcake-.

ALE MANIA - Robust Universe 7" (Hell, Yes! Rec.) 5,90 EUR
(member of THE BEATERS)more info soon...

ALEX HARVEY BAND - Same LP (Phonogram Rec.) 6,00 Euro

ALICJA-POP! - Shining Apple 7" (Certified PR Rec.) 5,50 EUR
Everyone should already know about Ms. ALICJA TROUT. She is highly regarded as one of the best songwriter/performers out there! Her previous output includes the legendary LOST SOUNDS, RIVER CITY TANLINES, MOUSEROCKET and many others...
The Memphis, TN based ALICJA is one of the most prolific artists of the past 10 years putting out a great record seemingly every other month. For her Certified PR Records debut, she changes things up a little. Originally intended to be children's record, this release features the amazing original, "Shining Apple" and her stunning interpretation of the DANIEL JOHNSTON classic, "Walking The Cow".

ALLVARET - Skam Och Skuld LP (Erste Theke Tonträger Rec.) 12,90 EUR
Distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
It’s always a good sign when you cannot explain why a band is so awesome. It means something new and inexplicable is at work in their music. Småland, Sweden’s ALLVARET is that awesome.
The elements are easy enough to define: there are the surf-drenched guitars, the outstanding female vocals and the rock ‘n’ roll frenzy of X – a sound which has been brewing in Denmark and Sweden over the last decade with bands like MASSHYSTERI, THE VICIOUS, TERRIBLE FEELINGS, VANA INGET, and NO HOPE FOR THE KIDS.
But there is something more than that, too. Their tuneful hooks take hold of you, drag you deep into their bleak and feral songs and threaten to tear you apart once you’ve been captured. Their music is simultaneously melancholic, frantic, and joyfully danceable. It’s wild and new and something wholly of its own. The energetic melodies that blast through ALLVARET’s new album are simply mind-blowing.
This Swedish punk band will release their 2nd Album – and it may just be one of the best things that have ever been produced in the history of Swedish melodic punk rock. The anthemic vocals of Sushila are the perfect balance of aggression and sincerity, while the predominantly choppy guitar chords and the drumbeats keep up the motivating energy that drives their music. The ten short and catchy songs that make up this album are simple yet powerful, and the beginning of each new track jolts the listener back into their music.

ALLVARET - Tank Pa Doden LP (Full Trash 95)(Co-release with Erste Theke Tonträger Rec.)
Distributed by P.Trash Records!!!

Limd. 100 "ETT" Edit. comes in clear wax! 12,90 Euro
Limd. 100 "P.Trash Club" Edit. comes in green wax! For P.Trash Club-members only! Sold Out
This is a co-release with our friend Thomas from Erste Theke Tonträger Records. Our part will get a special col. wax version for the P.Trash members only!!!
If anyone would ask us if we were serious about releasing this record from a totally unknown Swedish band, I would totally say yes. Why is ETT / P.Trash Rec. going to release ALLVARET's debut LP "Tank pa doden"? Not just because ALLVARET means "serious" in Swedish, but because this LP is seriously great. Hailing from the Swedish underground punk scene, this catchy phenomenal guitar lines can only be written by Swedish guys and sound so perfectly vintage! Allvaret emerge from a fertile musical ferment to deliver some totally off the hook KBD punk with tunes that will stick in your head after just one song. The guitar sounds so Scandinavian – MASSHYSTERI, THE VICIOUS and VANNA INGET say Hello. The driving rhythm section with the harmonic drum and bass parts remind me of some kind of early UK street punk, without sounding stupidly Oi! The most important part is the awesome voice of Sushila, with Swedish lyrics matching perfectly together. A bag full of diamonds for sale, even if you don't speak Swedish, this record will make you want to start the kind of dance action you haven't had since that childish days way back then!

After an absolute killer debut 7 inch that the band self-released comes the debut LP by these Michigan-ites that will land a direct hit to your midsection. 8 songs that bring back the energy and sound of the long lost late 90s tunes ala the Stitches and the Prostitutes but with a modern touch that makes it new and exciting all over again.

ANA BARATA/ SPEEDERGARBEN - split 7" (Wasted Sounds/Cage Match Rec.) 5,00 Euro
Ana Barata from …stersund, Sweden is another of the newer blasting bands from Sweden. They did there first apperence on the Norrland D-beat Comp and are now back with a bunch of new tracks. The band is continuing to explore the same road as the band they grow up with took, we are talking about influences of Uncle Charles, Human Waste and Assel, too spice everything up they have been listning to mutch to old Swedish punk/hardcore as Asta Kask and Ebba Gršn. On the otherside is another šstersund band that have reorganized in Oslo, Norway. This is a mix between Clasic simple Crustpunk and relly Snotty Punkrock, they got dirt, they got the solos and they got the style. This is as punk as it gets!

ANAGRAM - Same 7" (Telephone Explosion Rec.) 5,75 EUR
Europe distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
ANAGRAM have been one of Canada's best kept secrets for more than five years. Their music is a relentless and churning mass of sound that hypnotizes and punishes. On their first single with Telephone Explosion, they cover both LEONARD COHEN and The CLEAVERS. Each song transforms its original into a lumbering assault that can only be described as “ANAGRAM”.

ANGRY DEAD PIRATES - Garage Music For Mind And Body LP (Frantic City Rec.) 12,50 EUR
Highly recommend by P.Trash for fans of bands like LES MARINELLIS, DEMONS CLAWS, LE CHELSEA BEAT etc.!!! Second album from Toulouse's Angry Dead Pirates after a split 10" with The Movements from Sweden out on Pariah! Records in 2012, twelve new tracks recorded at Swampland, Toulouse, with none other than Lo'Spider of course. They don't sound like your typical 60s revival band and they don't sound like your typical "à la BLACK LIPS" neo-Garage band but they still dig fuzz and reverb a lot and even have a Farfisa in the band! They clearly found their own special sound mixing Garage Punk and Psychedelic elements, and who could have captured this special sound on a tape better than Toulouse's own Lo'Spider? The Spider actually played bass with them for a memorable gig along with SKEPTICS in the French Basque countries... He plays some organ on this record too. What's more, two members from Australian band Burn In Hell from Melbourne were invited on a couple of tracks, so there's family and friends here! LP co-released with Le Laboratoire and Barbarella Club record, bonus CD version included!

ANIA ET LE PROGRAMMEUR - Same 7" (Plastic Spoons Rec.) 5,75 EUR
ANIAETLEPROGRAMMEUR is an electro machine rock band formed in Paris in the early 2005 by Aniajules (machines/vox) and Hanrigabriel (guitars/vox/machines). The both based berlin members have toured almost without a break across Europe in venues and festivals with their sound comprising raw rock crazy guitars / vocals mixed with a massive wall of electronic beats and synths. They mix the big electro sounds that Berlin is renowned for with the melodic overtones of the Parisian Kitsune sound. It settles nicely as a mish-mash of hard styles, from techno to ambient, always with an inflection of programmable synths and noises integrating itself within the harsh vocal style and big drums...

ANNE KRAMER - Same 7" (Rob's House Rec.) 5,50 Euro
What sets ANNE KRAMER apart from the troubadour masses isn't just the honesty in her songs, but her ability to wander through an array of musical styles while maintaining her own identity. Kramer's voice is more honest-to-goodness human than seductress. Sweet melancholy is as much her calling card as is her rockabilly twang.

worst record on kenrock ever,,,or`? AEMF its WHITE LOAD,,, or no they have change the name? not only that, they have aslo changes there instrument with each other,,, and they can´t play SLOW..... 6 track of demented hardcore,,, you will hate it. SCHNELL thats one man from WHITE LOAD thats play and the singer from LOGNHALSMOTTAGNINGEN doing 3 also demeted retarded tracks... BLACK or dark GREEN records have been done....250 copies and will never be repressed.

ANXIETIES - De-Evolution will be televised 7" (Plastic Idol Rec.) 5,50 Euro
The second vinyl release from Eugene, Oregon radiators THE ANXIETIES. A head-smacking blast of spazzoid vocals, dueling guitars and pogo-demanding rhythms, cut with energy, goodtime vibrations, and ballsy hooks. File under: UNDERTONES, MARKED MEN, BRIEFS

APACHE DROPOUT - Shot Down b/w Sister Burnout 7" (Trouble In Mind Rec.) 5,95 EUR
This Bloomington, IN trio took just about everybody by surprise with their LP released earlier this year on Family Vineyard; a full-tilt, f'ed-up, psyched-out boogie-fied garage stomper filtered through the musical ghosts of bands both past & present, & we here at TiM HQ are pleased as punch to be releasing this two-song rager hot on the heels of that debut thrill-ride! "Shot Down" is a mutant Troggs stomp soaked in the sweat of John Lee Hooker & bops along like the bastard child of the Ohio Express & Sun Ra. The flipside - "Sister Burnout" is a barn-burning head-banger that ratchets up the intensity & sounds like an amphetamine-fueled sword fight between The Shadows Of Knight & The Deviants, with singer/guitarist Sonny Alexander testifying like a tweaked out Richard Hell. This is full-on sanctified-psych - drop the needle on the wax & become a believer! The first press of this 7-inch is on mixed vinyl, is housed in the Trouble In Mind factory sleeve & includes a download code! RIYL: Thee Oh Sees, The Troggs, UV Race, The Seeds, The Voidoids

ARCTIC FLOWERS - Reveries LP (Sabotage Rec.) 11,90 EUR
One of the most well known of Portland's fertile post punk influenced scene, Arctic Flowers follows up their well received debut EP and split with Spectres. Their sound builds on the foundation of UK anarchopunk meeting their previous work with such bands as Signal Lost and The Observers. This 12" has 8 songs leaning more towards the hardcore end of the spectrum while throwing in the occasional Mob influenced bit of melodic punk.

ARCTIC FLOWERS / INFINITE VOID Split 7" (Contraszt! Rec.) 5,75 EUR
Melbourne's post-punk favourites INFINITE VOID have teamed up with Portland, OR's dark-punk masters ARTIC FLOWERS for a special split 7". Beautiful artwork by Ashley Hohman. Green or Blue colour vinyl limited to 250 copies each - one time only pressing. Comes with MP3 download.

AR-KAICS - Same LP (Bachelor Rec.) 12,90 EUR
Richmond, Virginia’s The Ar-Kaics play a naïve brand of punk music in the tradition of American Teen Beat and amateur garage circa 1965 – or '66, at the latest. Ask a band member, however, and they’re quick to describe the sound as "a wild ass ride." On this self-titled debut LP they’ve traversed the muck and climbed out of the ooze, to walk pointedly upright on their own eight feet. Like all the dilettante Stones and Jr. Beatles before them, hammering away on department store instruments in their parents’ garage, The Ar-Kaics are one with their inner troglodyte child (hear: BACK FROM THE GRAVE, PEBBLES, TEENAGE SHUTDOWN et al. comps), showcasing a wealth of irresistibly simple hooks, fuzzy strut and primal swagger. Lucky for you this sound is NOW!!!!

ARMEDALITE RIFLES - Shambolic? Indeed! Double LP (FDH Rec.) 17,90 EUR
Europe distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
Thru the years they have released a handful of things including a split 7" on FDH with Giant Haystacks. They have always drawn influence from alot of areas including british poppy punk (pre 1985)/ dub/ world beat and alot of area between. Over the years they have had a few lineup changes and really built up to the point of the release of this record. Without a doubt you can tell they still took their raw underproduced style and spent a bit more time on mixing this time. They even had a few guests play on this record including Glen Mercer from the Feelies and Michael Merenda. This one is gonna be a co-release with Wrinky Dink records. I just got the tests of the double LP in today so we are probably give or take a month away from the release of this one. It will be limited to 200 copies. All with silkscreeneed cover! Check out this link to hear their live set on wfmu from a while back. Most of the live songs are rough versions of stuff that made it onto this record. http://www.wfmu.org/playlists/shows/25641

ARMEDALITE RIFLES / THE REACTION - Split 7" (Thrillouse Rec.) 5,50 EUR
ARMEDALITE RIFLES have always drawn influence from alot of areas including british poppy punk (pre 1985) mix with New Zealands THE FEELIES. REACTION sound files under early 1990 indie punk

ARMY OF JESUS - Book Bomb ep 7" (Criminal IQ Rec.) black wax 5,50 Euro
ARMY OF JESUS - Book Bomb ep 7" (Criminal IQ Rec.) mail order only red wax 7,50 Euro
The basic formula of hardcore hasn't changed since the genre coalesced from isolated pockets of second generation late 70s punks wanting to be more extreme than the previous generation around the world; LOUD FAST RULES still applies (often without frills such as guitar solos) and its ALWAYS been about youthful angst against this society in toto (and I also mean Toto and other commercial radio (s)hit makers that young hipsters ironically dig today like Journey but us old wankers cringed at when we were trying to go punk and/or new wave). Army of Jesus from Texas, while not as unique as say The BIG BOYS, channel a few generations of guitar noise destruction from 50s mutants like LINK WRAY to 60s acid damaged guitarrorists like MICHAEL YONKERS, BLUE CHEER, and RED CRAYOLA to 70s science fiction/post dada shock troops paving the way for 70s punk like Rocket From The Tombs and Debris to no wave to the 80s punk-metal fusion meltdowns that animated countless pits, and extremes in modern metal and noise all within the first 50 seconds of the intro to "Mia Culpa." That they were capable of evoking the musical continuum hardcore came from as well as the basics of hardcore without diminishing either is a testament to their potential. ARMY OF JESUS have it in them to make themselves as distinguishable as many great hardcore bands have done before.

ARRIGT ANTRAEK 7" repress (Hjernespind Rec. / Kick-n-Punch Rec.) 4,50 Euro
When this band came to my attention they were all literally KIDS in the age of 14 or 15. But unlike most kids their age, they knew how to fucking rock, and this record is the proof of that. Damn fine hardcore-punk that was turning quite a few heads when they first hit the scene.

ARSENE OBSCENE - Partir A La Guerre, Docile 7" (Slovenly Rec.) 5,50 EUR
Keeping up with the jonesers, Slovenly Recordings is super-stoked to present the free world with our latest discovery in the hip and happening world of bedroom punk: ARSENE OBSCENE! This mono-man from France is creating home-made crunchy fuzz rippers laid over primitive drum machine beats influenced by the ELECTRIC EELSE and France's own VOLT/ LIlI Z (and even Jacques Dutronc!). We're giving you this perfect slice of seven inches to spin and flip over and over at your next acid fueled pogo party. Dose up!

ARSENE OBSCENE - Rock Sauvage 7" (13 O' Clock Rec.) 5,50 EUR
13 O' Clock Records is proud to unleash the third chapter from one-man rock n' roll wrecking machine ARSENE OBSCENE. If his past two releases on Slovenly 7" and P. Trash Records LP haven't made much of a blip on your radar, then it's prime time to become acquainted NOW! Over the past couple of years, this solo project from one of the members of French punk band VEINES has been serving up some serious doses of D.I.Y. Killed by Death-style lo-fi punk rock. White hot distorted destructo guitar riffage, primitive drum machine beats, and snotty, angst-ridden vocals sung in French rip through these 4 new songs, perhaps in a nutshell answering what it might sound like if guitarist Frankie Fix from CRIME played with members of the ELECTRIC EELS, METAL URBAN, and VOLT. This ain't no mere toe-tapping, mildly bob your head music. This is a heavy concentration of high energy punk rock to send you bouncing off the walls!

Entering on atomic number 33 is Francois from the VEINES and his new solo-fi one-man pharmacy ARSENE OBSCENE. You're about to swallow 14 grams of crunched-out and fuzzed-up Punkrock powder, sweetened with wild STOOGES guitars, yummy yummy melodies and French vocals, cooked up with a drum machine in a secret crack kitchen and subtly interlaced into your JEFFREY NOVAK, ELECTRIC EELS, VOLT or AGGRAVATION mash. An antidote has still not been discovered. This one keeps you comatose with every spin.

ARTEFACT - Votive Offering LP (Adagio 830 Rec.) 12,90 EUR
You might have previously chanced upon Artefact if you’ve got your ear to the ground of the fertile, exciting DIY punk circuit in the UK. Equally, they might be brand new to you, but there’s no shame in that game. Release-wise, the four-piece have gone straight from a demo to a debut LP – a step-up that, ‘Votive Offering’, the long player in question, justifies in a half-hour blaze of elegant, alluring gothic punk grandeur.

Nothing can go wrong…5 track and a nice cover of the Freestons – Bummer bitch

ATOMGEVITTER - Hiroshemo 7" (Static Shock Rec.) 5,25 EUR
The cover for this looks like it's straight out of a Brian Walsby comic. It's not, but it's still pretty fucking funny. Anywho, these guys are from SCOTLAND of all places. Though I think a couple of 'em are German. Musically this is kinda all over the place. The cover and inserts would lead one to think this is straight up thrash, but there's a lot of screamy early 80's US Hardcore influence, some mid-paced "rock" breaks (one song is nothing more than praise for Ritchie Blackmore's RAINBOW) and a bunch of cool stop and start stuff. I guess it's thrash in the same way that VITAMIN X is considered thrash. Lyrically the songs come off as tongue-in-cheek, but there's definitely some honest anger behind 'em. Topics include the homogenization of the punk scene and eating shitty food. Best tune is the closer, "Tomorrow," which is a simple but effective rager with some nice riffage near the end. Nice to see there's some decent punk coming out of Scotland these days.

ATOMIC SUPLEX - Rock & Roll Must Die 7" (Frantic City Rec.) 4,90 EUR
3 super raw Garage Punk tracks like the SONICS meet GUITAR WOLF by those English men and women from Croydon (greater London). Screeching guitars, roaring sexaphone and pounding drums, it's their first single after a split 7" with the SWANKERS on Death Pop (UK). "I'm a sucker for that kind of loud destructo Rock & Roll!! Fucking great."

ATOMS - Debut 7" (P.Trash 46)
Limd. 500 normal sleeve 4,80 Euro
Limd. 100 "nuclear engine" edit. 3D styled design, neon green / pink screened silkscreen sleeve SOLD OUT
Originally, this disc by San Diego's stripe-wearing New Wave squad ATOMS was launched by Sweet Tooth Records 2007, went faster than lightning and disappeared in the endless depths of collector space.
Now, everybody familiar with P.Trash knows that we are a Trashcue Team and we will never let anybody in this garagey world down. That's why we rerelease these three superb sizzlers once again. Except some gravity-defying, synthie-supported New-Wave Punk with some cheeky brat vocals and lots of melodies and drive somewhere between SPIZZ ENERGY, THE EPOXIES, DEVO, THE SPITS and SERVOTRON. The perfect sound for a sunday ride in the orbit.

AUDACITY - Mellow Cruisers LP (Taken By Surprise Rec.) 11,90 EUR
The Fullerton quartet AUDACITY could have been just another semi-anonymous pop-punk bunch, if only it had put a little less creativity into the music on its second album. Instead, the band attacks its rough-hewn but unshakably melodic songs from a variety of angles while always retaining its anarchic spirit throughout the album's too-short 29 minutes.

AUSMUTEANTS - Fed Through A Tube 7" (Floridas Dying / Total Punk Rec.) 7,75 EUR
Ausmuteants are four Geelong goons who lie compulsively, have a bad sense of humor, and probably crack up whenever negative things are written about them on the internet. My kind of guys and an obvious fit for TOTAL PUNK. Over the last two years they have been putting out record after record of hook filled punk jams of the devolved variety, and the new single is no exception. The A-side "Fed Through a Tube" is a slightly jerky punk ripper about being too lazy to chew your own food that would make Terri Schaivo proud. On the flip side "Arguements" they slow things down a bit add a catchy synth line and sing about the joys of being disagreeable. Oh yeah and did I mention they feature members of Poison? 100% TOTAL PUNK and not long for this world.

A/V MURDER - Tourettes b/w Fight Like a Man 7" (Local Cross Rec.) 5,50 EUR
The second release from this Chicago supergroup Post-punk/KBD fusion, featuring Jimmy Hollywood of BASEBALL FURIES and TYRADES, Bill Roe from COCOCOMA, and two other mystery men (women?). Angular punk that moves both horizontally and vertically. "Tourettes" is the seizure-inducing burner and "Fight Like A Man" is the weird and dark turn that throws No Wave bleat and boom into that garbage can. Tightly wound tunes that tick-tick-tick and then explode in perfect time. Short and sharp. Buy or die!!! --MAXIMUM ROCK N ROLL/TERMINAL-BOREDOM.COM

AVERAGE TIMES - Same LP / CD (Full Trash 106 / Digital Trash 14)
Limd. 500 "Regular" Edit. comes in black wax. 14,90 Euro
Limd. 100 "P.Trash Club" Edit. comes in color vanilla cream wax! For P.Trash Club-members only! 15,90 Euro
CD Limd 100!!! 7,90 Euro
AVERAGE TIMES’ self titled debut LP perfectly blends the band’s self stated influences like The OBLIVIANS, JAY REATARD and the MEAN JEANS with a more disguised dosage of MANIKINS and MARKED MEN, all the while proving (along with fellow coconspirators NEW SWEARS) that Ottawa’s already prolific garage punk explosion is anything but a flash in the pan.
Recorded with local studio owner and DIY showspace runner Paul “Yogi” Grainger (WHITE WIRES, STEVE ADAMYK BAND, MOTHER´S CHILDREN, ZEBRASSIERS, etc), and mixed with Ian Showalter (DAGGER EYES, WHITE WIRES, PREGNANCY SCARES). AVERAGE TIMES comes in with a bang and leaves well before overstaying its welcome.
With hooks as poignant as these, the band is smart to bury them beneath layers of fuzz and distortion, lest they become too quickly disguised as the bona fide pop anthems they’re built upon. Above all else, AVERAGE TIMES is unabashedly fun. Weird Canada calls this record “the audio equivalent of a devious and mischievous 12-yr-old with a slingshot”, while Ottawa Showbox says “their high tempo makes you want to listen to them as you skateboard on a hot summer day”!
No matter how you take that, AVERAGE TIMES is sure to cut the deep frost long overdue from Ottawa to your turntable!!!
Recorded by Paul “Yogi” Grainger
