We have been huge fans of B.A. Johnston for some time now, and couldn't be more excited to release this 7". B.A. Johnston and the Moby Dicks is the 2nd in a series of 7" records that has B.A. Johnston teaming up with his favourite Canadian bands (The Magnificent 7s backed B.A. in the first instalment). The Moby Dicks re-create three of their favourite B.A. Johnston songs, "Robot World" (off B.A.'s classic album "Call Me When Old and Fat is the New Young and Sexy"), "You're Gonna Miss Me When the Zombies Come" (off "Stairway to Hamilton"), as well as the previously unreleased "McDonald's Coupon Day" ("McDonalds coupon day / has hit the streets of Barrie / the skids go crazy"). BAD SPORTS - Kings Of The Weekend LP + MP3 (Dirtnap Rec.) 14,50 EUR
BAD SPORTS were formed in 2007 in Denton, Texas and their debut full-length was released in 2009 on Douchemaster Records following a string of 7"s, and showed the band's songwriting mature into a more refined pop territory without losing their edge. Prolific to a fault, BAD SPORTS members currently also play in the HIGH TENSION WIRES, OBN IIIS, the live incarnation of Mind Spiders, WICCANS, and many more. "kings of the weekend", the band's debut for Dirtnap Records, picks up right where the last one left off, showing a penchant for highly developed pop songwriting skills mixed with the speedy garage-punk/pop sound of their first LP.

BAD SPORTS - Same 7" (Big Action Rec.) 5,75 EUR
Originally release in 2008, army green vinyl, hand screen printed covers. Bad Sports continue to deliver fresh doses of rock n roll at every turn. In the few short years since this release, they've been included on an LP compilation featuring Austin TX bands, as well as two full lengths out on Douchemaster and Dirtnap records.

BAD SPORTS - Same LP (Douchmaster Rec.) 14,90 EUR
Denton , TX is the equivalent for Douchemaster Records of a bar you can always go into and always expect to get laid afterwards. In this case she's particularly young and hopped up on speed. If you missed the two Bad Sports singles from 2008, then you don't know about their major league hooks and their seemingly unchallenged quickness. BAD SPORTS are a three piece that features TV's Daniel from WAX MUSEUMS and Greg Rutherford from HIGH TENSION WIRES. Orville just sits around and writes most of the songs. BAD SPORTS are a bit more playful, but don't be surprised if this record reminds you slightly of The REDS or the first MARKED MEN LP. Their debut LP features fourteen songs!

BAMN / BLACK STAR RISING - s/t LP (Cage Match Rec.) 11,5 Euro
BAMN plays powerful and angry yet melodic kick-ass d-beat hardcore from Sweden. MRR on their 10": "Wow, I really liked this. BAMN is from Sweden and cranks out some seriously awesome hardcorepunk that is heavily influenced by both scandinavian hardcore and contemporary crust bands like FROM ASHES RISE and TRAGEDY." BLACK STAR RISING is Swedish crust but more influenced by english 80`s Crust then your avage band. Bas/drum driven music with down to earth production.

BARRERACUDAS - Dog Food /w Diet Coke 7" (Bachelor Rec.) 5,00 EUR
Please don‘t ask. I dont know what a Barreracuda is. Maybe a typo? All I know is that this band called BARRERACUDAS is good, so good that you can smell success. These four lowlifes from Atlanta, Georgia, have a solid 7" out on Douchemaster Records already which sounds very Glam / Pub Rock-esque and because of that this band was flying under my radar. BUT the new songs go into the Powerpop / Punkrock direction and of course GENTLEMAN JESSE and EXPLODING HEARTS come to mind while listening / dancing to this but ssssshhhh.... I dont want to start the hype machine. Look out for a hit album in 2010, but meanwhile, buy one or two copies of this single here! (Not only because there is a naked poodle and a hooker on the backsleeve).
Print Run: 500 copies, black vinyl, housed in a b/w printed cardboard sleeve.
Recorded by BARRERACUDAS with Jason Kingsland at Exocet
Artwork and layout by Andy Burr (WOVEN BONES)

BARRERACUDAS - Nocturnal Missions LP (Douchemaster Rec.) 14,90 EUR
The city of Atlanta and the DMR gang are happy to announce the release of the Barreracudas appropriately titled debut record, Nocturnal Missions. Somewhere between The Heartbreakers (Petty) and The Heartbreakers (Thunders), the Barreracudas found a well of inspiration just deep enough to produce one of the biggest foot tappers of the year. Their sound shouldn’t come as a great surprise as most of these guys have been playing with Gentleman Jesse and His men for the past couple of years. While you wont find them dressed like their Heartbreaking predecessors, The Barreracudas have bound elements of 70’s dirt and glam with the radio friendliness of the likes of Dwight Twilley and Phil Seymore. You’ll discern no Pulitzer worthy poetry in the lyric sheet, but you will find eleven original tracks with hooks more infectious than encephalitis and a pretty sweet cover of Cheap Trick’s Come On, Come On.

BATHTUB GIN - The Lost Weak End LP (Red Lounge Rec.) 11,50 EUR
Crazy stuff sure to please OBLIVIANS / DRAGS fanatics!!! BATHTUB GIN comes from the Tennessee/Georgia border. There is one guitar player. There is one drummer. BATHTUB GIN plays garbage rock and roll for drunks and failures. Singer Casey's got a great haunting voice with a shot of Greg Cartwright in him!! The Record is dark, 's got the weight of a Shellac 78 and will haunt you for the rest of your life!

BATMAN - Cucciolone Classico 7" (Bachelor / Red Lounge Rec.) 6,75 EUR
SUPER DELUXE EDITION!! Another Team-up of RED LOUNGE and BACHELOR Records brings you the first proper solo release of BATMAN in true Schlager fashion. We still don‘t know how he talked us into this but he managed to persuade us to release a single without his sidekick Robin, lyrics sung in german language and a very expensive and originally signed autograph card. Actually we were quite surprised about the quality of these recordings. If he wouldn‘t be so ugly and Mark Ronson would be have produced it this would be a major hit record. But well, this way ist gonna be a rare gem in a couple of years. This one is limited to 350 copies

BATMAN - I'm not bat - I'm a bat 7" (2nd Edit.)(Squoodge Rec.) 7,50 EUR

BATMAN & ROBIN - I'm A Bat... I'm A Rock And Roll Animal 7" (Bachelor Rec.) 5,00 EUR
Back in stock, LAST COPIES!!!
OK, now, who would have guessed that this strange and sordid duo would land a hit record? Their debut 7" was well acclaimed by both, critics and music loving folks, so here it is... their second platter! With an exquisite mixture of garage punk and comedy, BATMAN & ROBIN are charming their way into the hearts and homes of everyone. Song titles like "I feel pretty good when smashing other people" or "Gotham City Blues" should lead into a buying decision. If not, you're a loser. Each single comes with an mini zine called "Gotham Gazette" plus a free cut out Batman Schnauz! (thats a moustache you goof.)

BATMAN & ROBIN - My Hero Power Is My Moustache 7" (Bachelor Rec.) 5,00 EUR
Hello babycakes!!! FINALLY IT'S DONE! Part three in the BATMAN & ROBIN trilogy is out now! And with this final part, the dynamic drunken duo recorded their (up to date) best songs. My boss spent the incredible amount of 20 Euros to send them into a studio to let them record four amazing songs, four hoopin and hollerin anthems, four footstompin soon-to-be classic tunes called:
1. MY HERO POWER IS MY MOUSTACHE
2. WONDER WHAT TO DO? UH! NO PROBLEM! I HAVE THE BAT BELT!
3. BE MY LITTLE CAT!
4. UNABLE TO SPEAK AFTER DRINKING UH!-WHISKY!
Of course this kid MICHAEL HACKI HACKER was forced to do the artwork again, this time he even did a big two sided full cover poster as well, including the secret diaries of Batman and Robin. He unravels the dirtiest secrets of your beloved superheros! This one is limited to 500 copies and as all other BATMAN & ROBIN 7"es before will not be repressed at any time. So take your chance and order this cray-zee package!

The band's second album now on vinyl on Wild Honey Records from Italy! Awesome Power Pop from Green Bay. more info soon...

BEAR PROOF SUIT - Science Is Dead ep 7" (Criminal IQ Rec.) 5,50 Euro
Wisconsin. A state that has brought us off-kilter underground trailblazers like DIE KREUZEN, TAR BABIES, KILLDOZER, COUCH FLAMBEAU, and ALUMINUM KNOT EYE now unleashes the next generation of this twisted family tree: BEAR PROOF SUIT. BPS not only manage to court an early 80s hardcore sound, but build upon it with some choice mid 70’s proto-metal riffage (like B.O.C. and Sabbath!) and a cool WIPERS-like non-hardcore/psyche/surf groove attack (Note: The version of the WIPERS “Upfront” on their debut 7” and is performed with as much drive and power as the original!). All of this is delivered with a monstrous wall-of-guitars blast intended from the start to blow speakers AND minds. An awesome feat from an almost impossible band. Their lyrical explorations are as relevant (who can’t identify with an issue like having bad credit?), as they are absurd (betting your soul against a microscope of gold that you can outwit God!). Wisconsinian absurd!

BEAT BEAT - Same (Bachelor Rec.) 10,50 EUR
I think it was about two years ago when the austrian Garage Punk Sensation called RODRIGUEZ stopped playing. Drummer Nolte didn't really know what to do with his sparetime so he bought himself a guitar and and amp and tried to write songs on his own, recording them with a drum machine. So far so good, but still he wanted to be in the spotlight so he got himself a band and told them to play the songs he wrote. They said yeah, but we will make some changes, kick out the drum machine, you gotta play drums AND sing. Well, it turned out to be a good idea cause some guy in Canada listend to these freshly recorded songs and offered them to do a 7"!!! After another 7" in Bachelor / Milk and Chocolate Records they started to play live more often and even got them small tours and a longer one overseas! After this USA and CANADA trek in 2009, BEAT BEAT finished recording the full length and gave the recordings to Matteo from the MOJOMATICS. He polished the songs a bit and after "only" one year of production time here is the final LP…. If you catch them live you will soon know why it took forever to get this album done… these guys like playing live and par-tee-ing a lot more than just record songs and do stoopid photo shoots for the artwork… It's really Garage Trash Pop in perfection! Two guitars, bass and a drummer who is doing lead vocals, all sounding like some of the high points of the long gone Crypt and SFTRI era with a mashing of the Spaceshits more 50's-ish smash-up's and the going off the rails engine block explosion of a lost Dirtys track! But very DANCEABLE!!!

BEAT BEAT- Without You 7" (Bachelor / Milk & Chocolate Rec.) 5,00 Euro
2nd 7" from Austrian party punx BEAT BEAT. Four demented and harsh garage punk hits from some low-lifes in southern austriah! This is how the lack of sex and massive abuse of drugs(stolen from various hospital trashcans) can lead into a masterpiece of primitive dance music. Limited edition 333 copies, silkscreened cardboard sleeve, printed by Antipesto Graphics.

BEAT BEAT BEAT - Living in the Future LP (Alien Snatch Rec.) 11,50 Euro
1st press 180g virgin vinyl! Sick, savage songs bursting from the white hot criminal underbelly of Atlanta. Atlanta is exploding with great new punk rock bands. making up one of the most vibrant, talked about punk scenes in the USA. The claims are rised rightly - we present one of them, BEAT BEAT BEAT is rough classic punk group sharing members with the CARBONAS and FRANTIC. They got the key to meld 77 punk hooks with the energy and forward drive of early 80's hardcore, complete with attention-to-detail, power pop songwriting skills. They have that certain down under murder punk feeling. Think SAINTS meet SUICIDE COMMANDOS. BEAT BEAT BEAT follows up their insanely well received 7' on Atlantas own Douchemaster Records and two big US tours (the most recent of which with The CARBONAS) with this, their debut full length. Recorded in Atlanta by Dave Carbona, 'Living In The Future' unleashes 12 sleazy, swaggering punk and slices of perfection on to the undeserving masses, including a stunning cover of Australian legends The FUN THINGS 'When The Birdmen Fly'. The Sound is dry, stripped down with the perfect on-the-first-look undercooled mix of high-pitched melodic (three!) guitars, snotty vocals from somewhere in the back and great up-tempo rhythm section having an subversive impact on listeners. There isn't a big sound and beefy bass lines but distinctive vocals and you hear every hook of the great songwriting. And, it gets better with every listen! CD is out on fellows label DIRTNAP Records in the USA.

BEATLES - 1962-66 2xLP (Apple Rec.) 12,00 Euro

BEATNIK TERMITES - Schoolbody`s Dream 7" (Get Happy Rec., blue wax) 4,00 Euro

BEAVERS - I'm On No One's Side 7" (High School Refuse Rec.) 5,50 Euro
The Beavers return after 10 years, although some of these guys have been kicking around as Grunnen Rocks faves Green Hornet for a while. If that reference isn`t indication enough, this is hiss-fi 60s punk with gratuitous organ grinding. The Beavers take on things is far more tame and traditional than a band like Mighty Go-Go Players, which might appeal to the purists out there.

BEAVERS - Silly Girls 7" (Frantic City Rec.) 4,90 EUR
BEAVERS' first single "Nancy you're a square", recorded by Mike Mariconda (Raunch Hands, Devil Dogs...), came out on Kogar records in the early 90s, and a year later they did a split with Gaunt on Demolition Derby. They put a great 10" out on High School Refuse Records in 2008 showing the world they still had loads of cool songs in store for us and here is another proof with this 3-track killer!! Starts off with a fast-paced Garage Punk number sounding like the Lyres meet the Spider Babies, then side B gives us a moody song that could have been recorded by the Crimson Shadows and a roaring tribute to Link Wray.

BEES`N`B-MICE 7" (Larsen Rec.) 4,00 Euro

BELGRADO - Same LP (Static Shock Musik Rec.) 11,75 EUR
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! So this is the debut record of this new but pretty active band from Barcelona. They play a perfect mixture of 80s post punk that sounds like SIEKIERA, JOY DIVISION or KILLING JOKE and add a melancholic WIPERS feeling to it.
Record comes in a 180gr Sleeve with fullprint innersleeve on thick white vinyl!

BELLAS, LES - Belladelic LP (Les Disques Steak Rec.) 12,25 EUR
Hailing from Perpignan, Les Bellas were formed in 2003 out of the ashes of various other garage rock bands such as Les Gardiens Du Canigou and Les Beach Bitches. In 2005 they released two singles ‘Electrified’ and ‘Hey, I’m Going Down’ which were soon followed by the offer of a single album deal with a famous West Coast garage punk label. Sadly the deal disintegrated before the album saw the light of day and soon after Les Bellas called it a day and went on to other projects. Three years on Les Bellas are still doing other things but the unreleased album has been picked up and jointly released by Parisian labels Sdz and Les Disques Steak, and that is something of a result because the album is stunning. Les Bellas are essentially a garage rock band and their music has a distinctly authentic 60s garage feel to it with its echoey vocals and fuzz tone distortion effects but the story doesn’t end there. The influences here are far reaching, ‘Ego Psycho’ despite its title is a lovely melancholic ballad while ‘Mistrial Blues’ is a good ‘ol foot tapping hoedown. Meanwhile album opener the ‘Belladelic’ is vocally the most interesting track, featuring the verse in French and chorus in English. For a debut ‘Belladelic’ promises much, it’s just a shame Les Bellas are no longer around to deliver.

BELLAS, LES - Electrified 7" (Profet Rec.) 5,50 Euro
After their brillant debut 45 here's new tracks by this fab beat'n garage sensation from france! While side A is a great soulful 60's garagetrack complete with horns & ace guitars, the B-side is a fuzzy Freakbeat & Girls in the garage track with irresistable beat & those charming vocals of Nadege! Get it while you can..it's lim to 300 only.

BELLEVUE - Discography LP (Static Shock Musik Rec.) 11,75 EUR
Here is annother beautiful piece of punkrock outta Switzerland !!!
English lines: This time it is the Bellevue Discography Lp 1980 - 1983 Lp!!! Bellevue-Discography LP. Absolutly beautifully packaged collection of the two 7"s of this essential Swisspunk band, some never before released studio songs from the period plus three remastered but still raw live songs. Includes innersleave with Rare pictures, History and Biography !!! Edition of 500 copies only ! During the late 70’s Andrea Hofer and Jürg Grob began to meet for evening sessions of noise at former “venues” such as defunct bomb shelters and parking lots. These nights brought together a wide range of very unique and diverse characters. Names like Marcel Hollenstein (Halle K, Nero’s Dinner), Christoph Hozog (Plaza), Turi Meyer (Sperma), Astrid Spririg (Liliput, Neon) and many many others were also very actively involved. When vocalist Peter Hefti joined in 1980, the name ‘Bellvue’ was adopted. After a handful of shows Jean Bhend left and was replaced by Major Many of the Rebells on drums. Bellevue consisted of former art-school students, looking for a new direction and for those involved who weren’t, Bellvue was a reaction to the stereotypical, chart-orientated music that was dominating the mainstream of that time. Bellevue sang in German and English, lyrically dealing with issues such as government surveillance, the army, drugs and genetic engineering. Besides a handfull of shows across Germany, Bellvue predominately played in their home city of Zürich with the odd out-of-town performance every so often. It all unfortunately came to an end in 1983 after the release of their second 7”, Soldatenlied…)
Mid Tempo Punk Rock // New Wave etc.

BILL BONDSMEN - Disaster Prone b/w 36th 7" (Local Cross Rec.) 5,50 EUR
This the Bill Bondsmen's 7th release, but their first proper SINGLE. Everything they have done has been a step above what came before it, and this continues the trend. The single format really puts their songwriting ability on display in a way it never has been before. They have taken their tough-as-Detroit midwest hardcore roots (see the countless NEGATIVE APPROACH and DIE KREUZEN comparisons in reviews of past releases) and blown them up. This is bigger, meaner, and better than any early 80's clone bands or too hip jerk off noise nerds.

BILL BONDSMEN - Swallowed By The World LP (Dead Beat Rec.) 11,90 Euro
"Swallowed by the world" is the BILL BONDSMEN ’s first album by one of the most promising Midwestern hardcore bands around today, playing real meat & potatoes hardcore along the lines of POISON IDEA & LAST IN LINE.

BILLY CHILD - Come On Baby 10" (Tear It Up Rec.) 10,00 Euro
3 piece band from Tokyo, plays a very wild and energetic mixture of fifties rock & roll and sixties garage punk. They are influenced by bands like SONICS , COUNT 5 , KINGSMEN.

BIPOLAR BEAR / HIROSHIMA ROCKS AROUND LP (Kill Shaman Rec.) 14,90 EUR
BIPOLAR BEAR: New and exclusive tracks with super-blasting sound, being in the vein of the INTELLIGENCE and CRASH NORMAL, with nods to the A FRAMES, like a more fuzzy rocking version of the MAE SHI, like a buzzsaw crazed-up version of MONORCHID, and also reminiscent of sadly forgotten 90's classics like HARRIET THE SPY...
HIROSHIMA ROCKS AROUND: Distorted and electronically deranged Post-Punk, who’s sound can be filed somewhere in between CHEVEU, CRASH NORMAL and the early BUTTHOLE SURFERS!

BIRDS ARE ALIVE - Plucked & Fucked Up LP + CD (Kizmiaz Rec.) 13,90 EUR
Collector items! "Only 250 copies made in a screenprinted sleeve + bonus CD!" French one-man-band. Sound is like Alive Rds` artists. Black Keys style... more info soon...

BIRTH- Same LP (Dead Beat Rec.) 12,50 EUR
Devastatingly punishing debut here from Chicago dirtbags BIRTH! Bathed in the same filth as Brainbombs, Drunks With Guns, Flipper and Big Black; BIRTH take cro-magnon riffs and shred 'em to bits as the sky collapses around 'em and they're buried in a pile of smoldering barbed wire. Think heavy, sludgey as fuck, proto punk that sounds like the Electric Eeels covering the Stooges using Sabbath's gear if it were stolen from a scrap yard and made out of knives. Brutally harsh landscapes where beating the shit out of your instruments is therapy and masochism is fun. Ex Brain Handle. Artwork by Ilth (Daily Void, Functional Blackouts).

BIRTH CONTROL - Going To Target 7" (Fashionable Idiots Rec.) 4,50 EUR
Finally, the vinyl debut of Philly burners, Birth Control. This platter contains 4 blasts of twisted and demented, snotty punk-rock that only these 4 losers could come up with together. This is for degenerated punks of all the hits that have been coming out of the greater Allentown area as of late...

BIRTHDAY SUITS - Europe 2009 Tour 7" (P.Trash 59)
Limd. 500 "Normal sleeve version" 5,00 Euro
Limd. 100 "screened silkscreen sleeve" for P.Trash Club-members only! behind schedule... ready mid December 09
Fresh out of the grinder comes the distorted and stirring sound of this unhinged Minneapolis duo shredding a good slab of sappy Lo-Fi TEENGENERATE Punkrock with a heavy pound of dodgy SHELLAC noise to a half and half mash of madness and passion with enough catchyness and Albini-treated guitars that may cause epilepsy and the munchies.
You already heard them on the split 7" with MARKED MEN and now you can see Matthew and Hideo (formerly chopping the meat in SWEET J.A.P.) on European stages everywhere. To celebrate this feast, here's ''Kids Fire - Run Fire'' and ''Flower'' as a delicious European-Tour 7'' best to be enjoyed with some smoky sauce and a sixer of beer and the lovely suit you wore on the day of your birth.

BLACK BUG - Television Screen 7" (Red Lounge Rec.) 5,00 EUR
Lovely little platter filled with electronic teenage angst! How sad you can't inject vinyl! For Fans of DIGITAL LEATHER, TOKYO ELECTRON , CCCANDY etc

BLACK DIRT - Sonic Redemption "Australian"-CD (Timberyard Rec.) 15 Euro
Recorded by Lindsay Gravina & Chris Townend, 'Sonic Redemption' is jam packed with blistering rock classics. Boris was a member of seminal Australian bands THE SCIENTISTS & THE BEASTS OF BOURBON, it wasn't until he formed the Dubrovniks that Boris' song writing & throbbing style was showcased. The Dubrovniks enjoyed a phenomenal amount of success around the globe, which sustained the band 'till '94. It's been a long time in the making but Boris' new work is a contemporary extension from where he left off in the Dubrovniks.

BLACK FLAG - Demos LP (Fan Club) 11,50 Euro
A-Side: Keith Morris (of Circle Jerks fame) 1978 Demos (8 songs)
B-Side: Henri Rollins 1982 Demos (8 songs)

BLACK JASPERS - Born In 77 7" (Slovenly Rec.) 6,50 EUR
THE BLACK JASPERS, featuring KING KHAN (THE KING KHAN & BBQ SHOW, SHRINES, etc.) and JASPER HOOD (MOORAT FINGERS), have blessed Slovenly Recordings with two fat lines of nose-bleed punk for a solid single of blown-out sickness! We'll boldly say that these two songs are even more brutal than the versions released on last year's self titled In The Red LP, as they were re-recorded in 2008 with increased fidelity and maximum beef. They even went so far as to add a third member, JOHN BOY ADONIS, on drums for this historic session! ‘Born in '77’ (an autobiographical ode to Killed By Death-isms), b/w ‘I Can't Stand The Summer’ both deliver a heaping key bump to the brain with enough racket to make your speakers crumble into a pile of powder, so don't even think about weaseling your way outta getting this one!

BLACK JASPERS - Same LP (In The Red Rec.) 14,90 EUR
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!! The BLACK JASPERS are KING KHAN (KING KHAN & BBQ, SHRINES, etc.) and JASPER HOOD (SHAKIN NASTIES, MOORAT FINGERS) getting together for an exercise in lowest common denominator, lowest fidelity punk stupidity imaginable. The BLACK JASPERS have been playing on and off since 2000 but are only just now getting around to releasing some of their recordings. This debut album was recorded in 2001 and has sat in KING KHAN's vaults aging like a fine wine ever since. Not until now has the King decided to unleash this record on the public. Twelve tracks of retardation inspired by the likes of the ANGRY SAMOANS, ELECTRIC EELS, MENTALLY ILL, and any of the dumbest Killed By Death tracks you care to name. A great record for when you just feel like breaking shit.

BLACK JOE LEWIS & COOL BREEZE - Same 7" (Shake Your Ass Rec.) 5,5 Euro
Black Joe Lewis is a young black gentleman that screams bluespunk and soul - with a ton of SOUL. The man who got unsettled the stereo's speakers and the shakin' asses of SYA's people here. GORIES/OBLIVIANS meet James Brown's pathos! Black Joe and his cool friends (Ed Miles, Walter Daniels, and Darren Sluyter) will blow your heart off!

BLACK LIPS / SUBSONICS - Live at Clermont Lounge 7" (Rob`s House Rec.) 5,50 EUR
Live at the Clermont lounge, Atlanta's seediest strip club, its the BLACK LIPS and SUBSONICS!!! What's better than booze, halfnaked ladies and two of Atlanta's heaviest hitters? Not much, and here's the record to prove it. BLACK LIPS do "bad kids", "lean". SUBSONICS do "hello beauty", "pistol".

BLACK LIPS - 200 Million Thousand LP (In The Red Rec.) 15,90 EUR

BLACK LIPS - Good Bad Not Evil LP (In The Red Rec.) 15,90 EUR
Now repressed on In The Red!!! The band's 2007 breakout hit album! Good Bad Not Evil epitomizes all that's special about Atlanta's favorite flower-punk sons-their unconfined energy, undeniable songcraft and unrivaled showmanship are all on full display. The material ranges from dirty psychedelic blues songs about Holy World War 3 ('Veni Vidi Vicci'), outright pop hits like 'Katrina' (written the night the band found out that the Hurricane of the same name had devastated New Orleans) and 'Bad Kids' (based around certain band members' experiences with juvenile detention centers). There's also the bruised, tender album closer 'Transcendental Light.' Good Bad Not Evil was produced by Black Lips at The Living Room studios in their hometown of Atlanta, aided by the band's friend Ed Rawls, a bartender at the nearby Drunken Unicorn, just around the corner from where fellow Atlantans Outkast work.

BLACK LIPS - Los Valientes Del Mundo Nuevo LP (In The Red Rec.) 15,90 EUR
Now repressed on In The Red!!! The band's live album recorded in Tijuana, Mexico, and their debut release for Vice Records, Los Valientes Del Mundo Nuevo finds Black Lips running through shambolic, high-energy versions of their back catalog to a room full of noisy, inebriated fans. Twelve powerhouse tracks of blues-infused garage rock action!

BLACK MAMBA BEAT - Same LP (Jeetkune Rec.) 11,90 EUR
Long awaited debut full length for this London-based South African trio, featuring mr Stix of BLACK TIME fame. BLACK MAMBA(Dendroaspis polylepis) is an elapid snake and is one of Africa's most dangerous snakes. It has been known to arrive at parties and inject patrons with its venomous beer bite which causes people to headbang or shake a tail feather, the "fuck it, let's have fun" ingredient in the venom eradicates all pretense and pose. Ingredients of said venom include obsession with MINUTEMEN econo ethics, BEAT HAPPENIN' beats, CCR and Mat's flannel. “We walk like the lion!! We got the BEAT!”

BLACKS - Shattered LP singles colletion (Gonna Puke Rec.) limd. 500 10,90 Euro
Finally available in a single handy piece of plastic all the singles by Swedish garage punk young gods THE BLACKS! “There was something magical about those times. For me the first time I played in a real band. I remember not being able to wait until the next rehearsal, it was like being in love! "Let It All Hang Out" was thefirst song I ever wrote and it's 10 years ago now. Wow! I was a totallydifferent person back then. I still think it holds up now and there's always something desperate and cool about your first band. Here you got the complete recordings, well, the stuff we want you to hear. Everything that came out on the 7"s we put out. It was made during two years when we went to the States twice on tour. We didn't care about Sweden or Europe. We wanted to be from Memphis, New Orleans, Tokyo, anywhere but here... We were fueled by blues and punk and wanted to be a mix of the Gories, Oblivians and Guitar Wolf. Listening to it now, I really think we had our own sound though and the songs were pretty damn good! It certainly has that teenage energy. So get down, get with it, turn it up and LET IT ALL HANG OUT! Yours truly, Martin Savage”

BLACKS - Shattered TOUR 7" (Big Neck Rec.) 7,5 Euro
Shattered is the BEST song the Blacks ever recorded. Last Copie

BLACKS - Call The Shots 7" (Big Neck Rec.) 7,5 Euro
Hell spawn roots punk from SWEDEN! The two Savage brothers and their drummer bang out 4 songs in the late Oblivians style. These boys can sure whip out, lo-fi, trash rock-n-roll. Very Swank.

BLACK SUNDAY / LE JONATHAN REILLY - Something To Tell You SPLIT LP (Tic Tac Totally Rec.) 11,50 EUR
1st press col. wax, plus metallic ink cover art, 500 copies
BLACK SUNDAY (Alicja Trout's bedroom, solo, mad-science project) births a new and increasingly experimental collection of recordings, all risen from the loose soil of her Tronic Graveyard in Memphis, TN. Which by the way always seems to be producing some real hits lately (Feelers, Goodnight Loving, etc.). This record pushes Alicja Trout's sound forward, straight from the brain with total control, while weaving all the boundary pushing through a format that also embraces her trademark synth-heavy (ballsy) atmospheres, with those punk and garage rock n roll tendencies. Metallic and quasi-schizo writing ideas all wrought in decayed iron instrumentation glued together in mid-air by Alicja's particular brand of brutal and beautiful vocal magic. A must have for any fans of Black Sunday, Lost Sounds, River City Tanlines, Destruction Unit, Blank Dogs etc. A nice effort and a unique addition to her encyclopedic career catalog.
LE JONATHAN REILLY...after an acclaimed split with the Tyrades and an equally impressive LP on Holy Cobra Society, these guys were ready for the "small-medium time" with TTT! Recruited by Alicja for this split, the boys provided us with a healthy new helping of their somewhat psychedelic post-punk / art rock noodling. This band hits me like Thomas Function, it's a little old sounding, but really fresh and sounds like a band that really means it when they play. And it sits in perfect compliment to the Black Sunday side. If comparison/reviews like "the perfect mixture between the Wipers and Swell Maps" and "the best current band in Spain" don't draw people's attention, then the simple fact that Le Jonathan Reilly is on pretty much every radar of "best stock picks" should obviously do the trick! Semi-sweet guitar jangling, passive-aggressive delivery dynamics, imposed on songs with a well-conceived take on "the old". Infectious and conflicted creative presence. Five more reasons they can deliver the goods.
Mastered at the Tronic Graveyard, cover art by Matt and Alicja, cover has some bad ass metallic ink channel stuff on it. Because Matt love going over the fucking top...and his credit limit. Which takes him to his favorite part, where you buy one!

BLACK SUNDAY / DESTRUCTION UNIT - Split LP & CD (FDH Rec.) 13,90 Euro
Limited edition of 500 copies with CD-version included! Split-album featuring Alicja Trout's solo-project BLACK SUNDAY on one side, and the band DESTRUCTION UNIT including herself as well as Jay Reatard, Ryan Rousseau (WONGS) and Shawn Foree (DIGITAL LEATHER) on the other side!

BLACK SUNDAY - Cut Out 7" (Tic Tac Totally Rec.) limd. 500 white wax 5,50 EUR
BLACK SUNDAY - Cut Out 7" (Tic Tac Totally Rec.)limd. 400 blue wax 5,90 EUR
LAST CHANCE!!! 4 songs. The "cut-out" 7" is really sort of a mini-album, exclusive songs by the new project of ALICJA TROUT, formerly a member of the LOST SOUNDS, MOUSEROCKET, etc.!. Home-recording-ish feel but high strung and clean. It fits nicely in between LOST SOUNDS` Black Wave and S/T without being Rats Brains an Microchips + w/ only Alicja's songs...make sense? Enjoy with anti-anxiety meds, pabst tall cans and your favorite mario bava film.

BLACK SUNDAY - GLI AMANTI D’OLTRETOMBA 7” (Solid Sex Lovie Doll Rec.) THE CIRCLE OF THE DAMN ED. (255 copies) 6,00 Euro
BLACK SUNDAY - GLI AMANTI D’OLTRETOMBA 7” (Solid Sex Lovie Doll Rec.) TERRIFIC SCREAM ED. (255 copies) 6,00 Euro
Another 3 tracks effort from Memphis' queen Alicja Trout taking a trip into think dark, saturated and gloomy death atmospheres fueled with buzzing and discordant cold near-goth poppy post-disco synth-punk action and wavy art-noise damage.

BLACK SUNDAY - Lights 7" (Disordered / Red Lounge Rec.) 5,00 EUR
New 7" by Alicja Trout (Lost Sounds,Nervous Patterns, River City Tanlines, Mouserocket, Clears, Fitts just to name a few of her bands!!). "Lights" is almost a warp back in time to the phantastic "You Can't Change" 7" by the Nervous Patterns. Melodic, yet aggressive. B Side "Can't keep my hands of you" was mastered by someone from the DEVO circles and has all kindsa weird effects in it!

BLACK TIME / TY SEGALL Split-LP (Telephone Explosion Rec.) 12,90 Euro
Europe exclusive distributed by P.Trash Records!!!

BLACK TIME / THE HUSBANDS - "Tour Split" 7" (Show and Tell Rec.) 5,50 EUR
3 Songs that spin at 33 from BLACK TIME and 2 songs that spin at 45 from THE HUSBANDS on the flip. Lot's of bang for your buck, as both sides of this split could have stood alone as a killer single for either band. Single commemorates the BLACK TIME/HUSBANDS Tour out West. BLACK TIME = CRAMPS meets CRIME meets UK riot stuff ala BLOOD SAUSAGE/HUGGY BEAR. THE HUSBANDS = "BAD GIRL ROCKNROLL" for fans of the WHYTE BOOTS, the GORIES, DEMOLITION DOLL RODS.

BLACK TIME - Double Negative LP (In The Red Rec.) 11,90 EUR
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!! London's BLACK TIME return here on their third and best album to date. Combining the fractured, art-damaged scree of their singles with the trebly garage punk of their two albums, BLACK TIME outdo themselves here and turn in their most fully realized release to date. Like a mutant cross between Messthetics and Back From The Grave compilations, this is awesome stuff!

BLACK TIME - Double Negative CD (In The Red Rec.) 12,90 EUR

BLACK TIME - Midnight World LP (In The Red Rec.) 12,40 Euro
3rd 12" after those GREAT and long SOLD OUT P.Trash Rec. release. The point is talent over ability, ideas over proficiency, energy over competence-- action, time, and vision. Add some musical instruments to this confusion and the resulting mess is BLACK TIME-- shambolic but passionate, hollerin' and wailin' at the dying of the red light. If you pay attention to zines, blogs and websites dedicated to sub-underground rock, then no doubt you are aware that BLACK TIME have been getting favorably compared to Crime, Pussy Galore, The Electric Eels, The Cramps and The Fall. A string of hopelessly limited edition vinyl 7-inches and 12-inches have stoked the fire. The hype is justified in this case, as Midnight World is the perfect marriage of chug-a-lug, primeval drumming, opaque layers of guitars, new wave cinema references, '60s and '70s punk, lo-fi static and overwrought vocals from frontman Lemmy Caution.

BLACK TIME - More Songs About Motorcycles And Death 12" (Wrench Rec.) 11,00 EUR
Germany exclusive distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
BLACK TIME are a London band that have been going for a number of years now, playing ultra-loud, noisy punk influenced by bands such as the ELECTRIC EELS, FUNCTIONAL BLACKOUTS and CRAMPS. They released their debut LP on their own label in 2004 and their 1st 12" on P.Trash, and have released a number of records since then, on labels such as In The Red, Yakisakana, Bancroft - and now have 3 albums released on In The Red. They did a tour of the Western USA in late 2009, playing a total of 12 gigs in places including San Francisco, Oakland, Los Angeles, Portland, Davis and Seattle. They also performed a live set on KFJC FM (Los Altos)
There are 6 songs on the 12":
FAST MOTORBIKE IN THE KITCHEN (Repressed hobbyists in suburban hell reminisce about summer holidays. 70s art-rock on a 10p budget)
LIONS VS. HUNTERS (The sad fate of Leicester speedway teams. A tubby commotion at the feet)
THE LIVING DEAD (Embarrassment of your mates coming round and Beryl Reid is your Satanist mum. Surf pop with two-wheel ton-up sound fx)
CYCLES (Keying the boss’ car whilst daydreaming about keying his face. Scratchy echo punk with marching drums)
MALLORY PARK (Race meet interrupted by mentally ill relative. Doomy bass drone and hoover noise)
HARLEY DAVIDSON (Motorbike as phallic weapon in psychic warfare. Gainsbourg as playground gang chant)

BLANK DOGS - Collected By Itself: 2006-2009 DoLP (Captured Tracks Rec.) 16,90 EUR
This release compiles long out of print singles, EP's, cassette and compilation tracks from the BLANK DOGS archive. Not a complete representation, but a wide breadth of the material recorded from this period not released on the full-length albums of this period, " On Two Sides" and "Under and Under." All the material is prior to the "Phrases" and "Land and Fixed" era, prior to the increase in fidelity, during under the hazey gauze of mystery and imperfect yet melodic noise. Consider it a parting shot to that period of the project. This release is in conjunction with a multi-week European tour which includes the Primavera festival. None of this material has ever been on CD, and some of it never before on vinyl, completely remastered. 27 songs on a double LP.

BLANK DOGS - "Diana (The Herald)" LP (Sacred Bones Rec.) 14,90 Euro
"Yello / black silkscreen sleeve version" Absolutely amazing undescribable music mix cold punk classics from JOY DEVISION & the electronic, hypnotic from DIGITAL LEATHER and you have it, we only got a couple of these, act now if ya want it!

BLANK DOGS - Land And Fixed LP (Captured Tracks Rec.) 15,90 EUR
Now available on vinyl. "Land and fixed" is a tight 12-song effort that took about a year and 13 scrapped tracks (some of which ended up on the Phrases EP) to complete. The result isn’t just a clearer recording; it’s like going from stolen cable on a 15-inch set to a wall-swallowing HDTV. A headphone listen, in other words - literally mixed on the subway to enhance widescreen details like the heat-seeking hooks of “Blurred tonight,” the elegantly-layered arrangements of “Out the door", and the moonlit synth melodies of “Elevens".

BLANK DOGS - On Two Sides LP (Captured Tracks Rec.) 16,90 EUR
Vinyl only reissue of the first BLANK DOGS full-length from 2008, originally released on Troubleman Unlimited. BLANK DOGS is a one-man enterprise that within the space of approximately one year has somehow managed to release a dozen or so releases; ''On Two Sides'' has previously done the rounds thanks to physical releases on Fuck It Tapes and Troubleman, suggesting this Brooklynite is hanging out in all the right crowds. As for the music itself, it's all very much conceived in a lo-fi dungeon, piling on the no-def fuzz and drum machine beats in a manner that's likely to register favourably on the barometer of hipness. At its best the record delivers wafer-thin New Wave jams like 'Meltdown Cloud' (like an emaciated JAY REATATRD record) or CURE-style Pop like 'Blaring Speeches', and it's certainly worth your while ploughing through all that grime and distortion to get to all this jagged excitement.

BLANK DOGS - Under and Under Gatefold-LP (In The Red Rec.) 16,90 EUR
For the past several years, a slew of 12-inches, 7-inches, and cassettes have been released by Brooklyn artist known as Blank Dogs. The sound is Joy Division vocal lines with The Cure’s synth and guitar melodies filtered through ancient, submerged keyboards and eroded recording equipment. All the feedback in the world can’t hide his knack for melody. Blank Dogs has been making plenty of rumbles in the noisier and more secretive outposts of the underground. All of their records were pressed in limited editions, sold out quickly, and, without fail, wound up fetching big bucks with collectors on eBay.Here comes a double-album housing 20 brand new songs (15 on the CD) that show off his pop chops to a greater extent than any of his previous releases. Various artists from the Brooklyn music scene—members of the Crystal Stilts and Vivian Girls, among others—contribute this time around, though the sound remains as dusted and strange as anything Blank Dogs has done before.

BLANK ITS - Happy Accidents LP (Empty Rec.) 12,90 Euro
Plopping out of Seattle with the likes of the SPITS come BLANK ITS. Likened to the Buzzcocks these guys (Justin:guitar, Betsy:bass and Jon-Paul: drums) have a sound that's gonna make you wanna! As Smashing Transistors put it "... Mangled two finger chords...and a high-strung backbeat... Think of them as if the Urinals at their most agitated writing songs they'd like to hear the Monkees cover..." Still rooted in the Northwest, these guys have played throughout the Midwest including Horizontal Action's Chicago Blackout with the Pagans, and in Hamtramck by themselves, and just recently at SF's Budget Rock. This debut full length, Happy Accidents, recorded by Kurt Bloch (of the Fastbacks) at Egg Studios, has all the record hounds chomping at the bit just like they did for their singles.

BLANK IT`S - Jonny`s Tongue 7" (Contaminated Rec.) 6 Euro
Hand numbered edit. 300 red wax, different covers, side B is " I`m Okay" GREAT stuff, very few in stock!!!

BLANK ITs - Windows Are Dirty 7" (Sweet Rot Rec.) 5,50 Euro
The BLANK ITs are back. After their killer first single, a cool split with the FEELERS and their underrated debut LP on Empty, they have returned with a self-released single of their own, plus this, a two song, no nonsense slab of wax that in this humble listener's opinion is their best record yet. "Windows Are Dirty" is everything an a-side should be - short, to the point, and ridiculously catchy (and you can hear it on the band or label's myspace page) - while the flip "Divorce" is about as epic as a three minute (weird) pop song can be, all played with that distinctive BLANK ITs sound (ie. loud guitars, insectoid vocals, off-kilter drums) and perfectly recorded.

BLANK PAGES - Same 7" (Taken By Surprise Rec.) 5,00 EUR
The debut 4 song 7" by Berlin based BLANK PAGES. Members were / are active in bands like IDLE HANDS, MODERN PETS, LIES FEED THE MACHINE and DRAMAMINE. They pick up the torch from IDLE HANDS playing meldoic punkrock with a certain WIPERS twist and offer 4 songs on this EP. Watch out for them playing your town soon!

BLINDS - On Our Own Tape (Revulsion Rec.) 8,50 EUR
Malaysia tape version limd. 200
These youngsters, aged 16-17, bash out straight-forward, catchy punk with a clean guitar sound. THE BLIND jam in the crucial style of early BLACK FLAG, CIRCLE JERKS, or ADOLESCENTS. Imagine a mix of recent scandinavian bands like AMDI PETERSEN'S ARME, YOUNG WASTENERS, DS-13 or REGULATIONS. Sweden has fostered some of the best hardcore bands of the past decade. 15 rough tracks with raspy vocals and snappy three chord gems fusing '77 era punk, hardcore and rock 'n roll. For fans of all those hyped swedish bands a must have. Economical and fucking deadly. This is perhaps on of the best records in this genere so far!

BLOODY GEARS - Same 7" (Taken By Surprise Rec.) 4,90 EUR
Their 2009 selftitled demo was a breath of fresh air, as the folks at MRR put it in issue # 315: "This band already has a sound that's their own, but likely draws from THE OBSERVERS and LEATHERFACE,and there's something very Midwest about these songs as well, making me think of early ARTICLES OF FAITH and HUSKER DU." I can also hear Greg Sage's WIPERS in those songs. Now their first piece of vinyl sees the light of day. 3 songs of dark melodic mayhem. 2 new songs and a re-recorded version of TAKE A RIDE from the demo.

BOBBY UBANGI - Inside The Mind Of Bobby Ubangi LP (Rob`s House Rec.) 15,50 Euro
Atlanta's champion craftsman of the three-chord garage sing-a-longs goes by the name of BOBBY UBANGI and this record is a rare trip inside the same mind that brought you the LIDS and the GAYE BLADES. Recorded on 4 track, the most humblest of DIY methods, the tracks range from lo fi rockers to sappy garage tear jerkers but with guest appearances by OLD KING COLE YOUNGER (BLACK LIPS), JARED SWILLEY (BLACK LIPS), KING KHAN, GENTLEMAN JESSE, and many others 'inside the mind of' is anything but simple. the LPs 12 track pack a punch and attest to the wonders an able song writer can do with just three simple chords!

BOB BURNS AND THE BREAKUPS - Hydrostatic Heart 7" (Plastic Idol Rec.) 5,00 EUR
The "Hydrostatic Heart" EP comes hot on the heels of the Steven`s Point, Wisconsin trio`s debut full-length "Frustration," which they released on P. Trash Rec.. The band debuted in 2004 with the now out of print "C-Store, Baby" EP, released by Dingus Records, run by MODERN MACHINES bass player Danny Z. BOB BURNS AND THE BREAKUPS went the DIY route for the "Hydrostatic Heart" recording sessions and nailed these tunes in April 2006. The aesthetic they captured harkens back to all those must-have Rip Off singles of the mid-`90s, an era defined by upfront vocals, trebly guitars, and understated bass and drums. All three cuts here rage in a similar fashion. The EP`s title track cruises along at a sprinter`s pace, thanks to a galloping rhythm section and youthful, exuberant vocals. It`s short, simple, and highly effective. The B-side cuts, "Losing My Head" and "Acid Reflex," are more far-reaching and kick up some serious dust with a few twists and turns and generally noisier execution. Fans of the CATHOLIC BOYS or FUNCTIONAL BLACKOUTS would surely approve. "Hydrostatic Heart" was pressed in a limited edition of 500 copies on clear vinyl.

BOB BURNS & THE BREAKUPS - Frustration LP (Full Trash 13) 11,5 Euro
BOB BURNS & THE BREAKUPS - Frustration US-CD (Mad Cook Rec.) 12,5 EUR
There ain`t nothing much to do in a mid-west one-horse town in the middle of the Wisconsin farmland except spitting out all your teenage frustration. While their high-school comrades go to the agricultural fair, the tractor-pull or down to the churchhouse, these three youngsters meet in stinky basements to yell an rage.
This debut full-length unleashes 12 short, fast and crunchy tunes that bring early NEW BOMB TURKS, MARKED MEN or THE HEARTATTACKS to mind. Sharp, snotty and distorted riffs a la CATHOLIC BOYS and a raspy trashcan voice give songs like "Blow Your Head", "Outta My Face", "Trash City" or "My Kicks" an authentic twist. These boys are pissed off and they mean it. A 20 minutes electroshock therapy on 45rpm that cures every frustration. Don`t waste your money on psychoanalysis. It burns, burns, burns...

BODIES, THE – Angel On The Nine 7" (Modern Action Rec.) 6,50 EUR
US-version of the upcoming P.Trash 7". Sleeves are hand stamped brown paper bag sleeves with black Bodies logo, bag is closed by Black/white Bodies sticker… After 9 years and many false promises (outright lies) about new releases, THE BODIES are finally back with 2 new tunes. They have not broken any new ground with these new songs nor have they progressed in their musical abilities nor expanded into any new territory – and that’s the good news. Both songs are poured from the same mold as all their other songs that you are surely sick of from the last decade...As the saying goes, if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it!!!

BOMBER - Mourning 7" (Cowabunga Rec.) 5,00 EUR
After a few delays with a 1st set of warped wax and plating delays as well finally comes the debut EP from Virginia Beach VA's Bomber! The young fellows from Virginia are a punk band that bring on 5 catchy but rough punk tunes. Brings to mind elements of KBD style punk, early GG, NO TALK and esp the GERMS but done Southern style with some bite. Lyrics dealing with negative subject matter we face everyday like bad feelings, the hatred of how constantly annoying/repetitive work is and the unknown of the general end to being. VERY small press of 250!

BOMBETTES - Get Out Of My Trailer, Sailor! LP (Ny Vag Rec.) 11,50 EUR
Distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
The BOMBETTES are here with their first full length album! Their previous two ep's "What's cooking, good looking" and "You have no chance, Lance" gave the world a surprisingly fresh take on pop punk, far removed from the watered down MTV-version of the genre, but poppy with a crunchy edge. The band members are careful when it comes to dropping musical references, but if you think of fun 80ies powerpop punk mixed up with a little of 60ies melody feel and played with far more attitude than pretentions then you got a hint of what The BOMBETTES are all about. The BOMBETTES have toured Europe and the US and will be back on the road soon again. For fans of: RAMONES, THE LOST PATROL BAND, MASSHYSTERI, NIKKI & THE CORVETTES, KNUGEN FALLER, BUZZCOCKS, THE DONNAS,...

BONDAGE FAIRIES - What You Didn't Know When You Hired Me LP (Krawallex Rec.) 11,90 EUR
Bondage Fairies formed in Stockholm, Sweden are named after a japanese hentai graphic novel. They are art school dropout Elvis Creep, computer scientist Deus Deceptor and super mainframe computer Bee-Bee Prime who craft head-shredding noise spawned from raw electricity and synthetic drums in an outburst of punk and electro-madness. Bondage Fairies released a 7” EP He-man on Lobotom in 2005 which was an amalgamation of noise-pop, electro and liberal sampling, but What You Didn’t Know When You Hired Me is the band at its most robotic and most explosive. Pure “nintendo-death-synth-punk” for acid pixies.

BOOTLEG BILL - Recorded While Nobody Was Looking CD (Splatter Mountain Rec.) 11,00 Euro

BOSOM DIVINE / I'm Your AnimalNIMAL / HANGOVER (GERMAN BEAT) 7" (Les Disques Steak Rec.) 5,00 EUR
France has always had a thing for alternative US music and Bosom Divine's version is a poppy take on garage rock. 'I'm Your Animal' sounds like it was inspired by the Velvets' third album and also by the Dandy Warhols (all those "wooh ooh oohs") while 'Hangover (German Beat)' on the flipside is full of wailing organ and beating guitars. It's direct, unsubtle rock'n'roll that gives you a quick fix but I suspect this is a band best experienced live.

BOSOM DIVINE -Same LP (Les Disques Steak Rec.) 12,25 EUR
Long awaited, finally here is the second album from gang brothers Féchiolles one of the most dangerous crew of the hexagon. Do not mess with these people very well flagged at Securitas. With their assets to a slew of robberies in the prestigious company of brothers in arms Anglo-Saxon (VIVA AMERICAN DEATH RAY, KID CONGO Congo…) or Swiss (Roy & The Devil’s Mortorcycle), the Bosom wants everything, on. The production is as high as it’s known that Jeremiah Taubes is stuck there: a warm, round, well low and guitars like cheese graters on the pasta of the mama. Efforts construction evident (the breaks funk-punk of “Hangover,” the overwhelming frenzy of their sublime cover of “Revenge of the nerds “…), an organ that tickles especially herculean doses of epinephrine in the service a rock’n'roll dry and compact. In the midst of this massive album the group agrees that some relaxations as “I just do not know,” fullness of the top electric and the symbol of blood and sweat gained mastery in the field. Their “Sweet Sami desire” testifies to harmonica support, the countless booty lavishly spent marathons sweaty debauchery as their bayou home. Between experiments stew of “Kinky rock” and plastered tarred “Boso Song”, the gang does not forbidden and finishes well with his audience openly psychoactive “no exception”. A true demonstration. A place among all ears.

BOTOX RATS - Modern Caesars LP (Meaty Beaty Rec.) 11,90 EUR
Limd. Colour Wax & MP3. The snottiest glam punk from the filthy streets of London’s SoHo. Both beautiful and decadent, the Botox Rats indulge all of our inner perversions through Rock 'n’ Roll... think a blend of the Stitches, Joneses and Heartbreakers with the snottiest vocalist around. Don't miss out on this extravagant full-length debut from what will be one of the hottest new bands to hit the rock'n'roll scene. Gold wax and comes with a download for the whole album.
“Good, solid snotty punk rock for fans of Pelado and Hostage Records. Features members of Disco Lepers, Shanghai Wires, and the Jabbs and would appeal to fans of Stitches, Smut Peddlers, Cute Lepers or The Pegs in a big way. Reminds me a lot of a SoCal band I got a demo from about a decade back called the First Wave Boys. The music is herky jerky without being post punk and the vocals are high pitched without being whiny. I am sure we will be hearing more from this band.” –Mike Frame / Razorcake

BOTOX RATS – Kick Me Like Trash 7” (Ken Rock Rec.) 5,00 EUR
Please ask for different versions!!
Debut 7” from these London lads, and they kick in the trash for you, or do they wanna kick P.Trash Records Haha,.. they are spastic and have the taste in punkrock. They are GREAT!!! You can listen to the track spastic tonite here: http://www.myspace.com/nftrecords

BOTOX RATS / DEAD RINGERS Split-7" (No Front Teeth Rec.) 4,90 Euro
Two exclusive new cuts each from London’s snotty glam punks The BOTOX RATS (featuring members of No Front Teeth, The DISCO LEPERS, The SHANGHAI WIRES, LOW SCORE CITY and more) and San Francisco’s frantic garage punks The DEAD RINGERS. This is a wild and sleazy slab on black and pearl (or spunk) coloured wax with great artwork to boot... this is pure style.
Tracks:
BOTOX RATS: Shakespearean Suicide / I Bleed Red Wine
DEAD RINGERS: Over Reaction / Sutter Street

BOTTLED VIOLENCE – Fable 7" (Suburban Waste Rec.) black wax 5,00 EUR
BOTTLED VIOLENCE – Fable 7" (Suburban Waste Rec.) limd. 100 white wax w/ colored sleeves 7,50 EUR
First off, if you name your band after a MINOR THREAT song, you are already setting the standard pretty high. Yeah, you get pissed off hardcore from Portland, but not the style you would expect. Tough and dark core that screams "Straight Edge" to me and its not just their moniker…the breakdowns, the drum beats…it's all there, but thankfully we have some very intelligent, non-generic lyrics! Sounding quite a bit like PAINT IT BLACK if they weren't already at punk superstar status before they'd even formed and had to work their mojo from the ground up. Can't wait to hear their 2nd output!!!

Bottles & Skulls - War Machine 7" (TKO Rec., Great Derek Hess Cover, limd. clear wax) 7,50 Euro

BOX ELDERS - Alice And Friends LP (Goner Rec.) 14,75 EUR
Goner is proud to present this brand new, first release from Memphis' beatific, BEACH BOYS damaged BARBARAS! Full-length slated for release on In The Red! They're 2/3 of JAY RETARDS's band (minus Jay), speaking of which, yes, Jay has played drums for THE BARBARAS but not on this record. They're 3/4 of the defunct BOSTON CHINKS. Creamy 60s peanut butter pop melodies in a lo-fi lemonade smoothie. Delicious! ... taste it yourself!

BOYS CLUB - Girls of Today 7" (Douchemaster Rec.) 5,50 EUR
This is the second single by these Minneapolis garage poppers. The A side has girl back up vocals that remind me alot of THE LIDS. The B side was almost a ballad but came off as a really catchy pop song. There's plenty of grit in each song to balance the pop. If you liked the first single, you definitely want this.

BOYS CLUB - Same LP (Three Dimensional Rec.) 12,75 EUR
We're really proud to announce that the Boys Club LP is finally out on Three Dimensional Records! This album has been two (or is it three? or maybe four?) years in the making, and it shows. This is a more definitive, crafted statement of what we're about than any of our singles (all of which were recorded less than a year after we formed) and the result is a really fun, memorable pop album that's the perfect soundtrack to your next shirts-off Ghetto Predator get-together, group grope, clam bake, drunken slip 'n' slide sesh, or just barricading yourself in your record room and blasting records by your lonesome. In other words, if not an outright party record, it's at least a record that feels like a party. Not to toot our own horn, but it turned out pretty dang great.
Expertly recorded by Bryan Standridge over the course of two fun-filled days at Magical Basement Studios last September! Take a listen for yourself: www.myspace.com/realboysclub

BOYS DON'T CRY - I Wanna Be A Cowboy 12" (Legacy Rec.) 3 Euro

BRADLEO ADMINISTRATION - Happy, Lucky, and Going Places 7" (Floridas Dying Rec.) black wax 5,50 Euro
BRADLEO ADMINISTRATION - Happy, Lucky, and Going Places 7" (Floridas Dying Rec.) col wax!!! 1st comes 1st 6,50 Euro
Local celebrity, and failed comedian, Bradleo Fabian finally gets his act together and puts out a record. And all I can say is its about time. Long known as the "Bruce Springsteen of Florida", "The Hardest Working Man in Lightbulbs", and now the head of his own Administration, the A side is a MODERN LOVERS inspired pop song, and on the B we get an awesome folksy pop ballad ala GREG CARTWRIGHT. Nice work Sir.

BRAIN EATERS - The Girl From S.I.N. 7" (Born Bad / Fuck U Rec.) 5,50 EUR
They mix Rockabilly, Garage, Swamp and Voodoo! They are the wildest on stage thanx to their crazy singer! GREAT!

BRAIN F. – Restraining Order 7” (Static Shock Rec.) 5,00 EUR
Following from a well received demo tape (under the name Brain Flannel), the debut 7” from North Carolina, USA’s Brain F (featuring members of Logic Problem and Grids) is now available to order. This two track 45 kicks off with Restraining Order, which was originally on the demo, and definitely one of the more catchy tracks to be committed to vinyl this year. I saw them described once as “when X (US), X (Australia), Teengenerate and Messthetics collide”, and as dumb as that may sound, it actually makes sense. The songs are bass driven, have scratchy guitar-work and have really impressive interloping male/female vocals that make this stand out. This 7” is limited to 500 copies, and will be followed soon by a second 7” on Grave Mistake.

BRAIN F - Sleep Rough LP (Sorry State Rec.) 13,25 EUR
The first two singles from North Carolina's Brain F? left a lot of people scratching their heads: Is it garage? Is it hardcore? (It's definitely punk.) How did they write such catchy riffs? How do you pronounce "F??" Brain F?'s debut long player, Sleep Rough, will force you to ponder those same questions and may breed even more (and we mean that in the best way possible). Everything has been amped up for this release... the hard stuff is harder, the catchy stuff is catchier (oh, is it catchy!), and the weird stuff is weirder. There's no need for band comparisons, but if you're into that sort of thing then imagine the SAINTS' minds in TEENGENERATE and the AVENGERS' bodies sent to a dystopian future. Really, though, this sounds like the year 2011; if you like huge guitars, endless vocal hooks, and a turbo-charged rhythm section (you do), then you need to hear this record.

BRAIN KILLER - Same 7” (Deranged Rec.) 5,00 EUR
Debut 7” from Massachusetts hardcore band – BRAIN KILLER. Fast, noisy, powerful hardcore with heavy influence from Japanese hardcore like BASTARD / DISCLOSE and straight forward American hardcore like DEATHREAT. Here is a review of their demo from MRR : “This demo is fucking great! Fast powerful noisy-as-fuck hardcore with some burly ass vocals and a definite DISCHARGE influence, but they are by no means a D-beat or Dis-band. They just have that element somewhere in the sound. Actually BRAIN KILLER has more than just a little bit of a DEATHREAT/BASTARD feel, but this shit totally stands on it’s own. I love this and if I had any money, I’d try to put out their record! Best demo in months.”

BRAT FARRAR - It's On Me 7" (P.Trash 65)
Limd. 241 "Romeo Edit." black wax, WIPERS - "Romeo" fake sleeve. 5,00 Euro
Limd. 174 "Better Off Dead Edit." black wax, WIPERS - "Better Off Dead" fake sleeve. 5,00 Euro
Limd. 100 "P.Trash Club Edit." transparent clear wax with red cords, WIPERS - "Better Off Dead" fake sleeve, for P.Trash Club-members only! 6,75 Euro
After playing alongside BOB DYLAN, KISS and The DAMNED as a member of the RUSSIAN ROULETTES and knocking down walls in about a thousand bars in as many countries with DIGGER AND THE PUSSYCATS, Sam Agostino is stepping out on his own under the solo moniker BRAT FARRAR. Besides the previously mentioned escapades he’s also left screaming behind in the past acts like the KAMIKAZE TRIO, PISTONS MISFIRE and the GRANNYKILLERS.
Writing, playing, recording, mixing and mastering everything, Sam takes his DIY approach to the ultimate level in BRAT FARRAR. Sitting in a similar vein to The WIPERS, JAY REATARD, WIRE, BUTTHOLE SURFERS, The SPITS, NEU!, PRIMAL SCREAM and The HEX DISPENSERS, BRAT FARRAR releases these three killer songs peppered with soul and hooks, among them the title track ''It's on me'' which sounds like having been forgotten on the WIPERS' ''Is this real'' record.
Keep an eye on the upcoming BRAT FARRER LP, also on your humble Punk shit pusher P.Trash.

BRICKWAR - Warpath 2x7" (Savage Rec.) 9,75 EUR
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED King Louie (Persuaders/tons more) + Julian Fried (Black Rose Band/Missing Monuments) + Jerry Macgillicuddy (Black Rose Band/Macgillicuddys) + Paul Rotzz (Die Rotzz/Kajun SS) make up Brickwar, a shortlived precursor to the current MISSING MONUMENTS. With trademark King Louie hooks, swagger and soul but darker and harder. Think Persuaders, Lost Sounds. AMAZING!!!

BRIMSTONE HOWL / HELL SHOVEL Split 7" (Certified PR Rec.) 5,75 EUR
BRIMSTONE HOWL are from Omaha, Nebraska. They have a reputation for being a prolific, hard working, touring band. They already have three full length LP's on Alive Records and have 7" releases on Boom Chick Records, Rob's House Records, P.Trash Records and others.. "Cross Wind" is a dark floor stomper with a strong 'Stones influence... BRIMSTONE HOWL at their best!
HELL SHOVEL from Canada are Jeff Clarke (DEMONS'S CLAWS), Dale Totello and Chotico Xextecesx. Their sound can be described as twisted psych noise with a melody. Telephone Explosion released their debut record last year. "Stealing Candy" hmmm... I wonder what this song is about?!?!

BRIMSTONE HOWL - Big Deal (What's he done lately?) LP (Alive Rec.) 14,50 EUR
Brand new album by Lincoln's favorite Garage sons. This time the gang went to Costa Mesa, CA, to record "Big deal (What's he done lately?)- (the title references a quote from Johnny Ramone about Phil Spector)" - at the Distillery under the guidance of engineer/producer Mike McHugh (Black Lips, Andre Williams, Jon Spencer, etc). The result is considerably more fuzzed than their previous work with Jim Diamond but still pummels. In fact it's a blast from start to finish!

BRIMSTONE HOWL - Guts Of Steel LP (Alive Rec.) 12,90 Euro
BRIMSTONE HOWL's sound is a furious mix of 60's influenced garage and old school punk that has been alternately described as "scuzzy blues-ish punk gone Killed by Death, like a lo-fi, art damaged early Gun Club," and "60s blues-based rock 'n' roll played Billy Childish style-super loose, raw, and f*d-up." Born in the small towns of southeast Nebraska, the boys of BRIMSTONE HOWL worked on the farms and now make their music in Lincoln, a city-town neither urban enough for dandies or country enough for rodeo motorcyclists. Cranking out several 45s in one year, including one engineered by Jay Reatard, they've toured and played with bands such as the Black Lips, Radio Moscow, Boston Chinks, Gris Gris, and the Black Keys. Delivering in-your-face live performances, they describe themselves as "Guitar sluts and hook thieves with hearts of chrome, but with pretty good lyrics," and their music as "like burnt, steady tom beats, the blues, and looooooowwwwwd fuzz." Impressed by the band's dual sonic attack and on-stage presence, producer Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys has perfectly captured their wall of blasting fuzz and primal energy on this great rock'n'roll album.

BRIMSTONE HOWL - Mammon 7" (Rob`s House Rec.) 5,50 Euro
BRIMSTONE HOWL are less of a band, and more an offensive attack. Unashamedly passionate about garage rock and gloriously dispassionate toward those who fail to recognise it as the feral noise of a caveman pounding wild boars with jagged granite. Mammon, the single's massive a-side, is a beautiful, multi-faceted, and most notably, mature track from one of the best non-shit-fi pigfuck garage bands around. Neil Diamond's Solitary Man backs this single, though its nothing like the original as Nick Cave vocals and dark closet production keep front-man John Ziegler firmly in check.

BRIMSTONE HOWL - Tunnel of Love 7" (Boom Chick Rec.) 5,50 EUR
Take some of the heavily influenced by amphetamines and R-n-B teenage rock-n-roll of the sixties, throw it in the backyard of some drunk on two bottles of homemade strawberry wine GUN CLUB fans, make them dance some bonified first & second wave strangeness and it might hit on the type of thing the BRIMSTONE HOWL are shooting for on these two songs. Antsy in it's execution "Tunnel Of Love" starts off sounding like "Friday On My Mind" if the FALL covered it in '80 but giving off a slightly off key and strong southern gothic odor of desperation & swamp beat. It's all held together by a Brian Jones snakewalk guitar thread. Things hit a little more trad of the recorded in a basement hit with black mold garage rock of "Crying Hard (Child of Perdition)". It's still quite lopsided and crooked though. Lots more dingy than flash. Way more loose than studied. Both pluses in this book.--Smashin Transistors--

BRIMSTONE HOWL - We Came In Peace LP (Alive Rec.) 12,90 Euro
First LP PRESSING is on PURPLE VINYL limited to 500 COPIES. Brimstone Howl is a Mid-West foursome described by NME as "Beatles-headed psych-nerds with a taste for razor sharp snake-rock". "We Came In Peace" is the follow-up to "Guts Of Steel" (Alive 2007) an album hailed as "unholy hot-wiring of the Sonics, the Damned and the Blues Explosion" (Magnet) and "cranked lo-fi blues rock from Nebraska's hoodlums" (Uncut). Led by charismatic singer/songwriter John Ziegler and guitarist extraordinaire Nick Waggoner, with Calvin Retzlaff on drums, the boys traveled to Ghetto Recorders in Detroit for a very productive recording session with legendary Jim Diamond. Despite it's cryptic title "We Came In Peace" is another fun explosion of fuzz and American-gothic chit-chatter, with "weird fictional adventure stories, and beginner blues guitar lessons from mongoloids," as they like to describe it. The album is packed with great songs, including the amazing power punk pop "Hopeless Destroyer," the Cramps-worshiper "Child Of Perdition" or the VU-psych influenced "Easy To Dream". Brimstone Howl has been sharing stages with fellow travelers Jay Reatard (who produced one of their first singles), the Black Lips, and King Kahn & BBQ, among many others, gathering reviews such as this one : "Pumping with hot red blood, they slopped their rock & roll around the room: dirty, gritty, just right. For the finale, the four players became two piggyback stacks. The playing continued as the dueling human towers wobbled about the room, knocking into the lampshades and ending up in a heap of bodies on the floor and a blistering wall of noise. Now THAT'S how you do it." (Orlando Weekly). Brimstone Howl will be touring all through 2008 and 2009.

Blow, blew, blown! The tapeworm of sickness which these manic Canadians kept on feeding with their two previous records is finally blown 2 completion.
As soon as the first line “Do not feel afraid to take a nap in the day’’ explodes, your whole world gets covered in a sticky and slimy anti-matter that speaks out in favor of a life of slack. If the BRUTAL KNIGHTS have already been fast in the past, songs like ''I hate chores'', ''I'll S your D'', ''Sky Mall'' and ''Food shopping'' really race like a heart on cheap amphetamines.
Rumors say that singer Nick has been gargling bleach for weeks to impersonate his idol Damian Abraham of FUCKED UP in the mid-tempo bashers ''Bad choice'' and ''Too many tattoos'', and on ''Summertime Coffee'' they even mistreat an innocent drumcomputer and crank out a wild Electro-Punk tune that sounds like CASSANDRA COMPLEX on cold turkey. Right down to the very last line ''It's so stupid like your dog, it's so stupid like your mom'' in the positive and affirming ''Life Problems'', this dozen of rotten eggs truly can't get any sicker and will blow you completely 2 shreds!

BRUTAL KNIGHTS - The Pleasure Is All Thine LP (Deranged Rec.) 12,50 EUR
Along with anyone lucky enough to have seen this band live, I've been praising BK's greatness ever since I heard that Nick Flanagan (TEEN CRUD COMBO) and the Sharon brothers (HACKSAW) were talking about starting a new band. If you don't already know, Toronto has been responsible for some of the best current punk bands going (FUCKED UP, CAREER SUICIDE, TERMINAL STATE) and now BRUTAL KNIGHTS. Shit, they were even voted 'Best PUNK band of 2006' by Toronto's Their 'NOT FUN' 7inch (also on DERANGED) raised a few eyebrows but failed to really capture BK's sound and intensity. Luckily, this album is not only a huge improvement with a solid mix/mastering by Jon Drew (produced both FUCKED UP 'police' and 'generations') but it also includes the bands best material to date making this a total shredder. I expect this will surprise most who give this record a spin. PLAY IT LOUD!

BUD MCMUFFIN / KING AUTOMATIC – 'King Automatic vs. Bud McMuffin' 7" (Kizmiaz Rec.) 4,90 EUR
I'm familiar with KING AUTOMATIC from his album on Voodoo Rhythm, and his tracks here are further fine delvings into the rich loam of new world swampiness as imagined by Olde Europe, though not as frantic as Irecall his previous work being. BUD MCMUFFIN seems to be a one-man banddealing in further fractured reflections of gutbucket Americanur-music. Words cannot express how glad I am to have lived long enoughto see this stuff lurch towards Jerusalem. -MAXIMUMROCKNROLL-

BUNDLE OF FAGS - Debut 7"(Weird Hug Rec.) 5,00 EUR
Great KBD inspired party punk from Chicago. Sorta like if the WAX MUSEUMS wore leather jackets? I think that makes sense. The songs are aces, and the attitude is great! Art by ILTH.

BURNING BUSH - As I Went Out One Morning 7" (Fistful Of Rec.) 5,50 EUR
Our friends from Fistful Of Records are excited to present the one and only 7"- release by Burning Bush. Burning Bush is DON HOWLAND (BASSHOLES/ GIBSON BROS. you know the man) teaming up with CHAD McRORIE and PAUL PARSONS (both from the Labiators, from Asheville, NC) and LANCE WILLE(REIGNING SOUND amongst many others) on drums. They bring you a fierce redemption of BOB DYLAN`s "As I Went Out One Morning" (you know the one about Tom Paine and how it all went downhill from then on), a haunting version of "Coming Down," the FUGS-classic (penned by Ed Sanders) about the many High-lights of using drugs, and a hard-rocking version of Don`s own "Hell`s Angel". Seems like this 7" was a one-off affair, and it will probably remain their only release. So you`d better enjoy it! It comes in the trademark Fistful 3-colour hand-silkscreen-printed sleeve on heavy brown paper; very nice! This time the artwork is in an all Rorschach-theme (very sophisticated) for all you psychotics out there! 500 pressed.

BURNING HEADS/ MARSHES EP 7" (Erase yer Head Vol. 8) 5,00 Euro

BURNING ITCH - Satisfied 7" (Goodbye Boozy Rec.) 5,50 EUR
Limited to 300 hand numbered copies. "Whether intentional or not Knoxville's Burning itch have a sound that wanders- no stumbles around a bit, but somehow manages totally keep it together. It works. Of all the hundreds of bands who tout their bullshit KBD sound or whatever, these dudes nail that wonderful middle-of the country sound born more out of listening to lotsa Rock n' Roll than haven been nursed on the tit of Killed by Bloodstains across your mams ass, This could totally pass as an unearthed 78 killer" -Maximum Rock n' Roll

B.U.S.H. - Sao Paulo LP (Thrash Bastard Rec.) 11,50 EUR
1st orders get limd. col. wax! After their debut 7” on 625, two split 7”s with DICK CHENEY and BRUCE BANNER and their debut full length released earlier this year the Sao Paulo 12” came out for their first european tour. B.U.S.H. plays furious and energetic skatepunk like in the good 80s. If you like CIRKLE JERKS, BLACK FLAG or JFA you will love them! The LP has 8 tracks of hardcore punk spiced with 60s garage and post-punk influences, a very cool recording and even much better creafted songs than their earlier material.

BUSH LEAGUE - SAME 10" (Yakisakana Rec.) 10,00 Euro
BL is a new Toronto band, HORRORS/ IN THE RED type noisy blues/punk!!! There must be something in the Toronto water. After the birth of our new Toronto gods BRUTAL KNIGHTS, we wanna present the GREAT 1st 10" from BUSH LEAGUE released on Yakisakana.

BUSY SIGNALS - Same LP (Dirtnap Rec.) 13,50 EUR
Distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
Touching on several overlooked styles that have only recently become appreciated, the Busy Signals are an unstoppable explosion of so many great nuances that it will literally make your head spin. With their instantly gratifying buzzing sound firmly rooted in original formula high-energy pop without a side of the feyness usually along for the ride, they have developed an incredible knack for weaving in bass lines and backup vocals that rekindle the magic created by first-wave Belgian punk bands right alongside the refreshing twists of primordial glam. This all comes together to concoct a blend of "real deal" punk so enthralling you'll be surprised at how bleak your outlook on life was before you were exposed to it, and you'll quickly realize how passable everything else seems to sound that came before it.

BUZZER - Disco Kiddz 7" (Douchmaster Rec.) 5,50 EUR
The Bay Area’s latest buzz is from a band called BUZZER. This proto punk three-piece features dudes from The Impediments behind Andy Jordan of The CUTS and The TIME FLYS. Buzzer’s debut three-song single generates the same mid 70’s adoration as Jordan’s previous projects sans the sleaziness of the Flys and the drug induced euphoria into which The CUTS would often drift. The marching snare on Disco Kiddz makes you wanna get real high and play flag football with your not-to-particularly-tough friends. “Cool Feeling” is essentially a glam popper, but the other two tracks sorta remind me of early PERE UBU with VERLAINE on vocals.

BUZZER - Teacher's Pet 7" (Tic Tac Totally Rec.) 5,50 EUR
Europe distributed by P.Trash Records!!!
The follow up to their Douchemaster Records debut. This one sounds like the Cuts at times to me, but harder. I like it because it's straight up unashamed rock n roll with an overt glam vibe...and it serves as a perfect reactionary sound-off to all the shit everyone is copy-catting still right now. So blah blah blah, I guess if you HAVE to pin it down, it's sort of a return to the gray murky times where stadium goof pop rock and punk were figuring each other out in a lot of bands cases during the mid 70's. But with much more clarified edge thanks to decades of punk and power-pop successors and the like. Think ROCK solos and other shamelessly melodic shit like la-la-la-la hooky choruses that are actually great sounding.
